Prof. James Nwoye Adichie, father of acclaimed Nigerian writer, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie was laid to rest on Friday October 9, in Abba, Njikoka Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The burial mass, held at St. Paul’s Catholic Church Abba, was precided by Auxiliary Bishop of Awka Diocese, Most Rev. Jonas Benson Okoye with other Catholic priests.
The burial mass was attended by many dignitaries including the former governor of Anambra state, Peter Obi.
Photos posted by the Anambra Broadcasting Service (ABS) shows Dr. Ivara Esege being the ever supportive husband by cradling his grieving wife, Chimamanda.
