A Nigerian woman whose Identity was (withheld) has asked for advice while sharing her family story.
Sharing her story online, she said her husband can’t stop using protection even after their five (5) years of tying the knot.

“I got married to my husband about 5 years ago, he is such a nice and gentle man and will not create any trouble in the extended family, everyone knows him to be a cool headed man.
“We got married and then on the night of our wedding he brought out a condom to use, I was shocked but after several minutes of arguing he said he wants us to wait a bit more before having children.
“Maybe I should tell you that my husband works as a manager in an F*** company, he earns very well, we live in our own house and he has like 2 cars even before we married he was doing well.
“Days went on to weeks and then to months and yet my husband will not stop using protection. We have fought and fought but he keeps knowing how to maneuver his way through and tell me he wants us to have enough time to prepare before having children.
“At a point I started getting used to him using protection, but its already 5 years now and my husband will not stop using protection. One day even had to ask him that hope he doesn’t have an STD or something like a disease, he got angry and said No.
“As I speak now, he has bought a new cartoon of condoms to be using on me his wife. Everyone is thinking we are barren even the family is asking us to go for checkups but only 2 of us know that my husband is using protection. I can’t even talk to a friend because its embarrassing, that’s why I chose to share it here and stay anonymous.”
