Super Eagles winger Samuel Chukwueze could be on his way to the Premier League, with Fulham reportedly interested in acquiring the AC Milan wideman, according to Tori Express Sports.
The 26-year-old Nigerian international, currently training with the Rossoneri for their pre-season programme, is rumoured to be seeking an exit from the San Siro outfit. His potential departure stems from a challenging period marked by inconsistencies since his €20m move from La Liga side Villarreal in 2023.
Chukwueze’s 2024/25 campaign was described as ‘mixed,’ where he managed just nine starts out of 26 appearances in the Italian Serie A. Accumulating a total of 918 minutes, his contributions amounted to three goals and two assists, highlighting a struggle to consistently impact games.
Despite the transfer speculation, Chukwueze recently featured for Milan in a pre-season friendly, making a cameo appearance in their 4-2 victory over Premier League champions Liverpool at the Kai Tak stadium in Hong Kong. He featured for 27 minutes after replacing Portugal forward Rafael Leao in the 63rd minute, though he did not directly contribute to a goal. This fixture was part of Max Allegri’s men’s ongoing preparations for the upcoming 2025/26 football campaign.
While no official confirmation has been made, the reports suggest that a move to Craven Cottage could offer the Nigerian winger a fresh start and a new challenge in the demanding English top flight.
