Ethan Laird leaves Man Utd for Queens Park Rangers

Manchester United defender, Ethan Laird, has said that he wants love and care after leaving the Red Devils to join Queens Park Rangers on loan for the 2022/23 season.

Man United confirmed that Laird had left the club for Queens Park Rangers (QPR).

The 21-year-old, who has been with Man United since the age of 10, spent pre-season with the first team, featuring twice on the tour of Thailand and Australia, and also in the game against Rayo Vallecano at Old Trafford.

This is coming after Man United’s Premier League 4-0 defeat to Brentford on Saturday.

Reacting to his transfer move, Laird told QPR’s website: “You want love and care. Winning changing rooms needs to have real care for the players and I feel like on the pitch you will get the best from your players if they know they are going to be cared for.

Another thing I look for is creativity – and it is in abundance here!
