    Afro beat star, Burna Boy Launches Marijuana Business in the US

    Award-winning Afro beat maestro, Damini Ogulu popularly known as Burna Boy has launched a cannabis brand called ‘Brkfast’ in the United States.
    Black Cannabis Magazine announced the development on its Instagram page while also stating that Burna’s Brkfst aside smoking comes in tea form, snacks and other consumables.

    The Magazine stated that Burna launched the business in collaboration with Jokes Up/Ice Kream in South Beach, Miami.

    According to the Magazine, on October 7, 2022, Odogwu launched his cannabis brand BrkFst in collaboration with Jokes Up/Ice Kream in South Beach, Miami.

    The magazine wrote “Burna is bringing his addition to the Cannabis Community by naming his brand BrkFst.

    “Most smokers will resonate because they start the day with morning marijuana consumption, Breakfast, your first meal. Hence the slogan is #Brkfstisforsmokers @smokebrkfst.

    Coinciding with Miami Carnival, the all-day celebration started with a Pop Up from 12- 3, Followed by Brunch at Miami Diner from 3:30-7 and had the team representing Burna Boy headlining at the all-white themed Tipsy Musical Festival at Bayfront Park, which closed out at 11 PM.”

    Naija News recalls that Burna, during an interview with Home Grown Radio in Los Angeles, in October 2021, gave the reasons for the Nigerian Government refusing to legalize marijuana.

    He attributed the Nigerian government’s refusal to hypocrisy because according to him, a good number of the population consumes it.
