Nicki Minaj and SZA Engaged in Fiery Social Media Showdown, Insults Fly on X

US rapper Nicki Minaj and R&B sensation SZA found themselves embroiled in a heated social media confrontation on Tuesday night, as a seemingly innocuous comment spiraled into a full-blown war of words on X (formerly Twitter).

The drama unfolded when the “Anaconda” rapper launched a blistering rant targeting Top Dawg Entertainment’s TDE Punch, accusing him of bullying her. The situation escalated when SZA appeared to weigh in with a cryptic comment urging someone not to “fall for a bait.”

Minaj swiftly interpreted SZA’s post as a direct shade, unleashing a barrage of personal insults. She reportedly called SZA “ugly” and claimed she sounded like “a f**king dead frog.”

SZA quickly downplayed Minaj’s outburst, stating she wasn’t bothered. She further clarified in a reply to a fan that her initial post was not aimed at anyone in particular, attempting to diffuse the tension.

Despite SZA’s explanation, Minaj doubled down, continuing to “drag” the “Kill Bill” singer. Her tirade shifted focus to a direct comparison of their musical success, with Minaj boasting about her extensive global reach and larger performance venues.

In a series of scathing tweets, Minaj directly challenged SZA’s standing in the industry. “Wait. Does SZA think she’s more successful than me? Lol y’all catch me up pls,” Minaj wrote, before launching into a brutal assessment: “SZA, if every song you’ve ever done vanished right now, the music business wouldn’t even miss you. I’ve been to countries that never heard of you. I know you’re not that stupid, are you?”

Minaj then emphasized her own concert achievements, contrasting them sharply with SZA’s: “Stadiums? Did you look at the venues I played on my own headlined festival tour out of the country last year? B*tch, have you ever headlined to 80K ppl? Btch, what have you ever done besides yodel with auto-tune that needed retuning?”

She concluded her tirade with a harsh declaration of superiority and a final jab referencing the earlier bullying accusation: “Boo, I’m an icon. You’re not. The end. Pay that man for almost breaking his back. Why didn’t u speak up when your exec was bullying & harassing me, ya dirty mangy cunt?”

The exchange has left fans reeling, with many speculating on the underlying tensions that might have fueled such a public and aggressive spat between two prominent figures in the music industry.
