A known terrorist with ‘$10 million bounty on his head’ now the interior minister in Taliban’s new government

A wanted terrorist with a $10m US bounty on his head has been made Afghanistan’s interior minister by the Taliban.

The Taliban on Tuesday, September 7, announced an interim government in Afghanistan that excludes women and includes the head of a militant group who is wanted by the FBI.

The Taliban named Sirajuddin Haqqani interior minister. Haqqani is the head of the Haqqani Network – a US-designated terror group in Pakistan and Afghanistan with close ties to al-Qaida – and there’s a $10 million US bounty on his head.

Haqqani is accused of overseeing some of the worst atrocities of the militants’ insurgent campaign, but will now take control of a key ministry in the Taliban administration.

The FBI’s most wanted list says Haqqani is wanted for “questioning in connection with the January 2008 attack on a hotel in Kabul, Afghanistan, that killed six people, including an American citizen.”

“He is believed to have coordinated and participated in cross-border attacks against US and coalition forces in Afghanistan,” the FBI said. “Haqqani also allegedly was involved in the planning of the assassination attempt on Afghan President Hamid Karzai in 2008.”

Sirajuddin Haqqani, the movement’s deputy leader, Yahoo News quotes The Telegraph as having reported.

The Taliban also named Mullah Mohammad Hassan Akhund, one of the Taliban’s founders, as prime minister. He’s on a United Nations blacklist.

And Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, a Taliban cofounder, has been named as deputy prime minister.

Baradar was captured in a US-Pakistani operation in 2010 and imprisoned in Pakistan until 2018. He was released under the urging of the Trump administration amid peace talks between the US and Taliban. He went on to lead the Taliban delegation in the negotiations.

Mullah Yaqoob, son of the late Taliban founder and supreme commander Mullah Omar, has been named minister of defense. And Amir Khan Muttaqi, a senior Taliban leader, was made foreign minister.

Despite vows to set up a broad-based new government, the Taliban have set out a cabinet entirely staffed by the group’s members from the Pashtun ethnic group.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki on Monday told reporters there was “no rush” for the US to formally recognize the new government in Afghanistan. Psaki said the Biden administration did not have a timeline on this matter but said the “world will be watching” the Taliban’s behavior moving forward.

‘Antoine Griezmann was pushed away on loan as he was not the club wanted’ – Club president Joan Laporta says

Barcelona president, Joan Laporta has admited that Antoine Griezmann was ‘not the player the club needed’ and didn’t fit into their system after the forward was sent back to former club Atletico Madrid on loan.

Griezmann joined the Spanish giants for a £108million fee in 2019, but struggled to impress in several matches despite scoring 35 goals from 102 games, including 20 in all competitions last season

The French superstar became an indispensible player of the team and the club were eager to cut his staggering £300,000 a week salary off their wage bill amid their ongoing financial crisis.

Speaking to TV station Onze, Laporta said the move ultimately didn’t work out but said he could not fault Griezmann’s attitude and hailed him as a ‘great player’.

‘I think that everyone was expecting more from him, because he gave everything and didn’t have a questionable attitude,’ he said.

‘We know what kind of player he was and is, he’s a great player. I think he didn’t fit in our system, but I think he showed a very good attitude. I sent him a message wishing him well, because he’s always had the correct attitude.

‘In footballing terms he wasn’t the player we needed. He scored goals – I think the one he scored in last year’s Copa del Rey that we won was very important – but it’s true that he could have given more. But he was under difficult circumstances.’

In a tribute to Barcelona fans after sealing his return back to Atletico, Griezmann promised he had given his all and was proud to wear the Catalan shirt.

‘Dear Culers. I say goodbye thanking you for your love,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘I gave everything for this shirt [since] I have been involved with this great club and I am sad that I could not enjoy more of you in the stands, but proud to have been one of you.’

His deal to join Atletico on loan is expected to include a a €50m (£42.9m) option to buy to a player.

The more than 12-hour operation at the Soroka Medical Centre, Beersheba, Israel took months of preparation and involved dozens of experts in the country and abroad, the hospital announced on Sunday, September 5.

The one-year-old girls, whose names were not released to media, were born with the rear parts of their heads conjoined.

“This was a rare and complex surgery that has been conducted only 20 times worldwide and now, for the first time, in Israel,” said Mickey Gideon, Soroka’s chief pediatric neurosurgeon.

Photos in Israeli media showed the twins – whose names were not provided – facing one another in a cot, their heads bandaged. The hospital’s statement said the surgery involved cranial reconstruction and scalp grafts for both.

“They are recovering nicely. They are breathing and eating on their own,” Eldad Silberstein, the head of Soroka’s plastic surgery department, told Israel’s Channel 12 news.

Update: The man who choked young mother to death during sex is jailed for less than 5 years

A man who choked a mum-of-two to death during sex has been jailed for four years and eight months.

Sam Pybus, 31, choked Sophie Moss, 35, to death as the pair had sex at her home in Darlington, UK, in the early hours of Sunday, February 7, this year.

Sophie Moss was found unresponsive by police and was taken to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

Pybus – who was married to someone else at the time – had gone to Darlington Police Station to alert officers to Sophie’s death, stating that he believed he had fatally strangled her after being invited to her home in the early hours of that morning.

Pybus had drunk 24 bottles of Amstel lager over 10 hours.

The pair had been in a sexual relationship and would see each other for sex around six times a year.

Pybus admitted killing her, but denied murder, instead claiming that he did not mean to cause her any harm or serious injury.

He pleaded guilty to manslaughter, which was accepted by the Crown Prosecution Service.

Pybus, who has no previous convictions, said he had no recollection of the sexual activity during which he killed Sophie. He claimed he “came to” when Sophie became unresponsive, the court heard.

Pybus remembers coming to wearing his boxer shorts and described his hands as hurting so he “must have strangled her although he did not remember doing so.”

The court heard that he left the flat and “spent about 15 minutes in his car considering his options during which time he had not sought to render first aid to Sophie nor had he sought any emergency medical assistance for her” before he drove to Darlington Police Station and told officers he thought he had strangled her.

After Pybus was sentenced to 4 years and 8 months in prison, Detective Chief Inspector Andy Reynolds, who led the investigation, commented on the sentencing and said: “This was a difficult and complex investigation, and our thoughts remain with Sophie’s family and friends at this difficult time.

“Although nothing can ever bring Sophie back, I hope today’s result will offer them some comfort and help them to come to terms with their devastating loss.”

S3x is a mystery: Let’s talk about s3x

Each time couples come to me for counseling, I am always surprised that some of them still cling tenaciously to old wife’s fables, when it comes to sex and sexuality.

For instance, a man told me that men who desire children should wear boxer-styled shorts and loose-fitting pants all the time, so that their testicles – the sperm-producing organs – are not constricted. But constriction is not the problem.

The truth is that testicles are outside the body, because high body temperature may negatively impact sperm production. Therefore, wearing loose-fitting underwear is advisable. Men who are concerned about their fertility should also avoid staying too long in very hot weather.

The heat generated from laptops held in male laps can also cause low sperm count, which can make it difficult for them to father a child. It is always advisable that anytime a man wants to use the laptop, it should be placed on a desk or table. Of course, enlarged varicose veins in the scrotum, injury to the testicles, including damage done by bike-riding and so on, can also negatively impact on a man’s fertility.

Nowadays, many people mess around because they believe that sex with the same spouse could be boring. This is a pure lie. Sex with the same spouse could be interesting if only you want it to be. Research shows that people who have been married for a long time have the most frequent and satisfying sex lives. That’s because committed couples trust each other enough to express their deepest desires. Moreover, the emotional connection established over the years allows for erotic levels of intimacy. Since sex is often as much about trust as it is about chemistry, long-term relationships offer the possibility of a high-quality (and high-quantity) sex life.

That men crave for sex more that women may not really be true, because many women want sex more than their male counterparts. It’s not that women don’t crave a good erotic, breath-taking and explorative sex; it’s just that the mechanics of getting turned-on are a little more complicated for women than for a man. When a man wants to have sex, it’s the only thing on his mind. In women, the libido tends to be more easily distracted.

Therefore, for men to get more time in bed with their wives, they should simply try to be affectionate.

Some have said that good sex can make up for bad communication. There is no truth in this because what is required is two-way communication, and not just a few sessions of hot and passionate sex. Communication meltdown and tense conversations occur when people feel threatened. Couples should do everything possible to make each other emotionally safe and appreciated. Deep emotional connection enhances good sexual connection.

Sex without good two-way communication between partners is mere second degree prostitution.

Most husbands believe that the best sex occurs when the man takes the lead as the head of the home, while wives are to submissively play along, so that they won’t be tagged ‘spoilt.’ No. Sex between couples is team work, and not a one-man show. As such, it’s most titillating when both partners are getting their needs met, and fantasies realised.

Research shows that the best sex is achieved when the man allows his partner to have a lot of influence over their love-making experience. Husbands should encourage their wives to express themselves about their wants and needs. Fulfilling another’s desires can sometimes be the secret to spectacular sex.

Most times, I tell husbands that they undermine the sexual capabilities of their wives while taking the lead all the time. Tonight, husbands, give your wife the opportunity to take the lead. You will be surprised that there is a humble tiger in her.

The belief that the best sex is spontaneous is relative, you never can tell. The truth is that some of the best sex that couples have is scheduled and planned. Though it may sound routine, scheduled sex can be an advantage for a busy, sex-starved couple; waiting for that spur-of-the-moment escapade that sometimes never comes.

The appointment doesn’t necessarily have to be on date night; it can simply be something to look forward to on an otherwise-average evenings, once other members of the household are out of sight. Please, make sure they are really out of sight to prevent embarrassment.

It is a popular saying that sex should start when the husband gets an erection. On the contrary, good sex for a woman often begins long before the moment of her partner’s full salute. It’s the gentle caresses and loving attitude that are essential to great sex for a woman.

Satisfying sex for both partners begins with foreplay, whether it is fast and fun or drawn-out and sensual. But men who give their wives affection throughout the day, make things pleasurable for them and act thoughtfully are more likely to be lucky most nights.

It is far from truth when people say that happy marriage means that couples won’t be tempted, especially when they occupy a high religious position.

Most single ladies believe that the ‘ideal’ husband is a God-fearing man, or simply put, a ‘man of God.’ I often make them realise that even the so-called ‘God-fearing’ husbands are not exempted from temptations. They are, and will be tempted, because they do not walk around the place blindfolded. They see what every other person sees. It’s not the temptation that signals a problem in a man or woman in a marital relationship, it’s succumbing to it.

Every man faces temptations, no matter how healthy and strong his relationship with his wife is, or no matter how strong and powerful his relationship with God is. Whether he is a ‘man of God’ or ‘servant of God,’ a loving relationship can’t gag against flirtatious co-workers or attractive acquaintances. But men do have the ability to control their urges and prevent falling into temptations. Ask for the grace and strength to overcome such temptations.

Keeping the pictures of your spouse and family in your office, cell phones, wallets, and most importantly, in your heart could be a reminder of one’s relationship and commitment. Remember, the matter of the heart is the heart of the matter. Treasure your partner in the sacred place of your heart and no other person will be able to occupy that special space.

QUESTION ONE

I am a young woman with inverted nipples and this has been giving me much concern as I see it as abnormal. I don’t know what to do about it?

You need to see a medical doctor, who would instruct you on what to do. You have no cause to fear.

QUESTION TWO

What are the negative effects of sexual abstinence? Is there any side effect if a lady or a guy refuses to have sex for over thirty years? Will the man’s sperm not dry up in his body or the lady’s vagina be sealed forever?

The human body is designed to adapt to changes. A guy’s sperm cannot dry up and a lady’s vagina cannot be sealed simply on account of sexual abstinence. The body system is designed to take care of such eventualities.

QUESTION THREE

How do hemorrhoids or piles affect a man’s ability to engage in sexual intercourse in men?

They affect sexual intercourse in men because of the location of the hemorrhoid and the pain men feel while having penetrative sex. Sometimes, the pain may be so unbearable, especially when the penetrative sex is vigorously done. This is because hemorrhoids are painful, swollen veins in the lower portion of the rectum or anus.

A person having this will experience an itching anus, anal ache or pain during bowel movements. The most common cause is straining during bowel movements. Hemorrhoids may result from constipation, sitting for long periods of time, and anal infections. In some cases, they can be caused by other diseases, such as liver cirrhosis. Internal hemorrhoids occur just inside the anus, at the beginning of the rectum. External hemorrhoids occur at the anal opening and may hang outside the anus.

Over-the-counter corticosteroid creams can reduce pain and swelling. Use cotton undergarments, avoid using hard toilet tissue with perfumes or colors, and try not to scratch the area. Sitz baths can help you to feel better. Sit in warm water for 10 to 15 minutes. Take lots of vegetables and fruits to prevent constipation. If the condition persists, contact a doctor.

QUESTION FOUR

I have been having some problems in my home, particularly when it comes to love making with my wife. She is the type that doesn’t like that word intercourse. She’s always scared of making love with me. She also has these painful menstrual pains. If she manages to give it to me once a week, I thank God. We have been married for two years now without a child. I work offshore – one month in, one month out. I don’t enjoy her when I’m at home. Sometimes, we quarrel because of this and it is driving me mad. Sometimes, I feel like keeping another woman out for my pleasure, but I can’t because I love my wife and I’m a Christian. Please what can I do?

I can feel your frustration, and I know how men feel when they are denied of sex. As I always tell others, be patient with her. Try to explain your frustration to her and do that lovingly. No woman in her right frame of mind would want to deliberately destroy her home, except a foolish one. Tell her again and again how much you desire good sex. Help her out with her daily house chores that can task her energy and also allow her to take a lead whenever you want to have sex. I am sure these pieces of advice would be of help.

QUESTION FIVE

I sincerely need your advice on what I could do to regain my strength as a man. I am 37-years-old and I have the challenge of maintaining erection for more than two minutes after penetration. What really bothers me is the fact that my recovery time for another erection takes more than ages and sometimes my wife would have been long gone before I am back in the mood again. My greatest challenge is the fact that I can’t satisfy my woman any longer. Please, advise me on which doctor to meet that will appreciate the enormity of my travails and properly diagnose my problem.

There are lots of experienced doctors in the private and public sectors. You can visit some of the government teaching hospitals for help.

Horrible! Young mum sentenced 30 years for stabbing her son to death to get ‘revenge’ on ex-husband

A mum has been sentenced to almost 30 years behind bars for stabbing her three-year-old son to death in an apparent bid to “get revenge” on her ex-husband.

Millena Iris Santos da Paixão, 27, killed her son Marcos Paulo Vieirato on December 11 2019, in the Brazilian town of Medicilandia.

Neighbours told reporters that they heard an argument between Paixão and her ex-husband shortly before the tragic incident.

Paixão claimed to have been in the grip of a psychotic episode when she committed the crime and reportedly attempted suicide by stabbing herself with the same knife shortly after killing her son.

Friends say that after killing the boy, she uploaded a photo of her wounds to social media with the caption: “Love your wife. Marriage is serious.”

She was taken to hospital in Altamira, where she was treated for her serious injuries, before later being charged with the murder.

She later wrote a note begging for forgiveness because she had “not helped her son”.

In court, prosecutor Rafael Trevisan, a representative of the Public Ministry, rejected the defendant’s claim that she had committed the crime under the effect of “use of controlled medications, and added that there was no evidence that she suffered from depression”.

Mitigating, defence counsel, Wilson Martins, said the root cause of the crime had been “domestic violence against women.”

After Paixão’s was sentenced to 30 years in jail, her attorney described the sentence as “very high” and announced his intention to launch an appeal immediately.

Elderly housekeeper who was forced to sleep in cellar wins over £50k compensation from boss

An elderly housekeeper who was paid as little as £1.41-an-hour and forced to sleep on a chair in the cellar, has been awarded more than £50,000 in compensation.

69-year-old Julie Miles was reportedly forced to work 60 hour weeks, clean and cook at the Great Western Hotel in Abergavenny, Wales, was also not allowed to take a day’s holiday and was treated ‘as a servant’ by employer Gary Hesp.

Miles who was vulnerable and had nowhere else to stay, lived in the laundry room in the basement of the hotel and ordered to cater to Mr Hesp’s every ‘beck and call’ 24 hours a day.

The Cardiff tribunal also found that the 67-year-old married manager sexually harassed the pensioner by sliding his arm around her waist on three separate occasions.

Mrs Miles began working at the £70 a night hotel owned by Mr Hesp and his wife Loraine at the end of 2014, and as part of her role had to clean almost the entire property on her own.

The housekeeper who also had to also strip beds, wash, dry and iron the bed linen, make the beds with fresh sheets, clean rooms, hoover and mop and clean the toilets in the bar, also managed the hotel when Mr Hesp who had a full time job as a bathroom salesman across Devon and Cornwall was absent.

Mrs Miles was paid between £84 and £99 after working 60 hours a week, meaning she was paid below the national minimum wage throughout the three years and five months that she worked at the hotel.

Mr Hesp was also said to have deducted £80 a week for accommodation, but for over a year she was only provided with a chair in a cold laundry room in the cellar. When Mrs Miles asked for holiday, Mr Hesp reportedly said to her;

‘We can’t spare you. You worked last year without a day off – you can do it again.’

Mrs Miles who resigned from her job in May 2018, wrote in her resignation letter;

‘The unreasonable working conditions, scant help, long daily hours covering several departments, no day off or minimum wage for three years do not augur well for my future at the Great Western Hotel.’

Ruling on the case, Employment Judge Laura Jane Howden-Evans said;

‘From December 2014 onwards, the relationship that existed between (Mrs Miles) and (her employers) was one of master and servant.

‘It was only by (her) complying with (their) every instruction, completing work quickly, turning her hand to whatever was necessary to get the rooms ready and more importantly by being at Mr Hesp’s beck and call around the clock, that Mr Hesp was able to keep the hotel ticking over whilst working fulltime in Devon and Cornwall.’

Mr Hesp was found to have exploited his employee’s financial difficulties. The tribunal added;

‘Mrs Miles perceived herself as being an older woman in a vulnerable situation and as such she felt demeaned by Mr Hesp’s unwanted conduct of a sexual nature.

‘She felt trapped in a difficult situation as there was no one to complain to as her bosses were Mr Hesp and his wife and she believed that if she complained she would be ousted from the hotel and would have nowhere to live.’

In total, Mrs Miles won £55,194 for unauthorised deductions to her wages, compensation for unfair dismissal, money for holiday not taken and compensation for injury to feelings as a result of the sexual harassment.

Michael K. Williams, ‘The Wire’ Star, dies of heroin overdose at 54

American actor, Michael K. Williams, best known for his role as Baltimore stick-up man Omar Little on HBO’s The Wire, has sadly died at the age of 54.

The actor was found dead of a suspected heroin overdose in his Brooklyn penthouse Monday afternoon, September 6, law-enforcement sources told The Post.

He was discovered unconscious in the dining room of his luxury Williamsburg pad with what appeared to be heroin on the kitchen table, sources said.

The acclaimed actor’s nephew found him a little before 2 p.m., and someone called cops to the address at 440 Kent Ave., saying there was a man there who was “unresponsive” and “feels cold,” sources said.

Williams was pronounced dead by authorities at 2:12 p.m., and it appeared the TV star had fatally OD’d.

“No foul play indicated,” a police source said. “No forced entry, the apartment was in order.”

“It is with deep sorrow that the family announces the passing of Emmy nominated actor Michael Kenneth Williams. They ask for your privacy while grieving this insurmountable loss,” his longtime rep, Marianna Shafran of Shafran PR, said.

Williams recently portrayed Montrose Freeman on HBO’s Lovecraft Country, for which he received a 2021 Emmy nomination for outstanding supporting actor in a drama series, and When They See Us‘ Bobby McCray, the father of Antron McCray, who convinced his son to sign a false confession.

The frequent HBO star also played racketeer Chalky White on Boardwalk Empire.

“We are devastated to learn of the passing of Michael Kenneth Williams, a member of the HBO family for more than 20 years,” a statement from the network said. “While the world is aware of his immense talents as an artist, we knew Michael as a dear friend who was beloved by all who had the privilege to work with him. We send our deepest condolences to his family for this immeasurable loss.”

Church in Wales approves blessings for same-sex marriages

The Church in Wales has voted unanimously that same-sex couples will be able to have their civil partnerships or marriages blessed after new legislation was passed by the Church’s governing body.

A bill to authorise blessing services for same-sex couples was approved at a three-day conference at the International Convention Centre Wales in Newport this week.

The bill was approved by more than the necessary two-thirds majority, following a debate.

Before the votes were cast, Bishop Andy John, the senior bishop of the Church in Wales, acknowledged that some would find the change in policy to be a departure from the word of God.

“But every development is to some degree a departure; something changes wherever there is a new expression of practice,” he said to those at the meeting.

“And even when such a change appears consonant with a stated position, it is nevertheless a change.

“When the Church changed its position on forbidding meat with blood in it, or saw that slavery in all and any form was wicked, there was change.

“The ‘authority of the eternal yesterday’ must not be a millstone around our necks but provide a basis for a courageous embrace of what God is doing in the world around us. Mission always lies at the heart of faith.

“And being alive to God, to what might happen next, is part of remaining curious and open to new opportunity.”

The bishops proceeded to approve the bill unanimously, whilst the clergy passed it with 28 votes for approval, 12 votes against, and two abstentions. The laity passed the bill with 49 votes for approval, 10 against, and one abstention.

Blessing services will now be permitted for same-sex couples “experimentally” for five years, however individual members of the clergy are at liberty to decide whether they wish to perform them.

Gregory Cameron, the Bishop of St Asaph, said: “I come out of this debate with no sense of triumph but believing that the Church in Wales has done the right thing under God for the LGBTQIA+ community.

“The Church has spoken decisively today in favour of blessings. There is a journey still to be taken but I hope that we can do it together with all the wings of the church.”

In an explanatory memorandum, the bishops, who introduced the bill, said that its approval would mean that the “loving and faithful commitment” of same-sex couples was “worthy of acceptance by the Church”.

While the bishops recognised that the bill may be controversial, the memorandum stated that it was “a step on the way towards repentance of a history in the Church which has demonised and persecuted gay and lesbian people, forcing them into fear, dishonesty and sometimes even hypocrisy”, preventing them from publicly living lives of committed partnership.

“My Beninese lawyers were paid well but can’t save me from prison” – Sunday Igboho speaks from Cotonou prison

Yoruba Nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, also known as Sunday Igboho, has lambasted his Beninese lawyers for failing to stop his detention at a prison in Benin Republic.

Igboho, who has been detained for almost 2 months, revealed that some of the lawyers were paid up to five million Naira, yet none of them could stop the judge from detaining him despite how many they were representing him in court.

Igboho’s outburst comes after an altercation between him and one of his lawyers, Ibrahim David Salami, reports Daily Post.

Recounting the issue between him and Salami to one of his supporters on phone, Igboho explained how he walked out on Salami when he came to see him inside the Benin Republic prison.

During the phone conversation, Igboho explained that his lawyer, Salami, had kept him waiting and he eventually walked out on him.

Igboho said: “Lawyer Salami came to prison to see me, but he kept me waiting, attending to some other people for more than 15 minutes. I called on him, ‘Lawyer, I’m waiting, I’m hungry. I want to go and eat’.

“But he replied me saying, ‘will you be going then’ and I walked away. I don’t lie. He was here to see me, not someone else. He should have told those ones that he wanted to see his client. I am not a kid. I will be 50 in October.”

While the caller tried to persuade Sunday Igboho to make peace with his lawyers because freedom is better than being in captivity, he retorted: “If lawyers don’t want to represent me in court anymore, no problem. It is God who knows how I got here. He will set me free. Are those lawyers God?

“Lawyers that could not tell the judge not to take me to prison, despite how many they were. They were up to 10. In their presence, the judge ordered my detention in prison. Are those ones lawyers?

“Those who could not remove handcuffs from my hands until Falola came to do so. Are they lawyers? And they collected huge amount of money. Five million, four million, three million (Naira), that was how they were paid; yet they couldn’t remove handcuffs from my hands. I don’t fear any lawyer or anybody. Anything they want to do to me, I’m ready.

“I don’t need any information from Salami. Anything they want to do, they should go ahead. If he is on phone, he should hear me. I don’t need any information from anyone. I need information from God.

“I told my wife the last time she came here that I don’t need any information from anyone. The information that nobody has been able to get to secure my release from here, God should give me.”

Igboho is currently locked up in Benin Republic.

He fled Nigeria after he was declared wanted by the Department of State Services, DSS, following the alleged discovery of weapons in his Ibadan residence.

He was arrested in Cotonou on July 20, 2021, while trying to travel to Germany.

‘I have not slept in 40 years’ – Medical doctors shocked

A woman who says she hasn’t slept in 40 years has left doctors baffled.

Li Zhanying from Henan, China,  claimed that she was only five years old when she last got some sleep.

Neighbours have tried to prove her wrong by staying awake on a card-playing marathon in order to tire her out. But the neighbours eventually gave up and went home, with Li still wide awake after several hours.

She even took sleeping pills, hoping it will help her sleep yet she stayed awake, and the strange phenomenon has now made her a local celebrity.

Liu Suoquin, Li’s husband, has also corroborated his wife’s claims. He said that since they got married she would always complete household chores late at night as she couldn’t sleep.

When the couple first started sleeping in the same bed, Li would often exclaim “I can’t sleep!” to her confused husband.

Doctors were initially unable to diagnose Li’s condition when she first sought medical help, reports the Bastille Post.

But now a trip to a specialist sleep centre in Beijing has shed light on her condition.

It turns out Li sleeps, but not like anyone else on the planet.

Brainwave monitors were able to show that she gets no more than 10 minutes of light sleep per day, a statistic that is still staggering. This was only revealed 16 hours into the 48-hour-long monitoring test.

Woman claiming she hasn

It turns out that she was nodding off whilst talking to her husband, entering a sleepy trance where she could still hold a conversation like someone who is awake.

The phenomenon is very similar to sleepwalking as her body remains fully functional whilst she is technically sleeping.

Infidelity: Ghanian couple stuck in each other while having s3x (video)

A couple has been spotted in a viral video crying for forgiveness after getting stuck in each other, while having sex at Lake Bosomtwi in Ghana.

It was learnt that the couple who were in pain after the incident, called out to their friends who came to their rescue.

The man who was the one screaming the most in the video, begged for forgiveness and yelled that the excruciating pain was unbearable.

Lake Bosumtwi is the only natural lake in Ghana. It is situated within an ancient impact crater that is about 10.5 kilometres in diameter. It is about 30 km south-east of Kumasi the capital of Ashanti and is a popular recreational area.

It took the intervention of the traditional authorities to appease the river Gods for forgiveness. They poured libation obviously to beg the gods for the couple to be separated peacefully. They were later sent to the hospital where they went through series of treatments.

Nigerian Govt ready to recover monies wrongly paid to 588 Doctors – Ngige says

Minister of Labour and Employment, Chris Ngige has said that the Federal Government will recover millions of naira wrongly paid to 588 medical doctors across the country.

Ngige said names of the doctors who wrongly benefitted from Medical Residency Training Fund meant for a particular category of doctors, were uncovered after a thorough “scrutinisation of the 8000 names submitted by Chief Medical Directors of Federal Government health institutions for the training programme”.

The Minister who also revealed that a substantial amount of the money had been refunded by some of the affected doctors, added that efforts have been intensified to recover the remaining balance.

According to him the affected doctors’ delay in making a refund, was holding back the Residency Fund payment by the government.

Ngige said;

”Ministry of Health has gotten the list of doctors who supposedly are to benefit from the Medical Residency Training Fund.

”Total submission of about 8000 names were gotten and the Ministry of Health is scrutinising them.

”We have done the first round of scrutinization and they will now compare what they have with the Post-Graduate Medical College and the Chief Medical Directors who submitted the names.

“The Association of Resident Doctors, in each of the tertiary centres, worked with the CMDs to produce those names, but now the names are being verified.

”We discovered that about 2000 names shouldn’t be there because they don’t have what is called Postgraduate Reference Numbers of National Postgraduate Medical College and (or) that of the West African Postgraduate Medical College.

“So, this is it and that is the only thing holding back the Residency Fund payment because it is there already for… incurred expenditure has been done by the Finance Minister and an it’s in the Accountant-General’s office.

”So, once the verify they authenticity of those they are submitting, the Accountant-General will pay.

“We are doing that verification because we do not want what happened last time in 2020 to reoccur.

”In 2020, the submitted names didn’t come through the appropriate source, which is the Postgraduate Medical College and payment was affected and it was discovered that about 588 persons, who were not resident doctors benefited from such money.

”They are now finding it difficult to make the full refund. But they have to refund that money. Some are refunding, but there is no full consideration of the account.

”That account has to be reconciled to enable the accountants pay the next round of funding for 2021.”

This is coming amid a face-off between doctors in the country and the federal government over an ongoing strike.

‘I had to Divorce him even though I loved him before he Tears my Womb Apart’ – Woman shares

A Nigerian woman has this true but funny story to share.

See her story below:

I want to be anonymous. This is a very painful part of my life and very frustrating too. I met this lovely man some years back, he was quite huge and heavily built and so was very attractive but I loved him for much more reason that that to be frank.

We got married and then I realized that I was in trouble. As much as I love to make love, I was not ready to die. He had such a “huge” manhood that cannot be explained or described. I once asked if he did enlargement and he said No that it is natural for him.

Every single day we make love it normally feels like someone trying to do surgery in my womb, we have been married for only 1 year but its been 1 year of bleeding in my private region and using pads not for my period o but for the bleedings I have had from my husband huge man hood.

I can’t tell him to go sleep outside neither was I able to calm him down. Atimes I even beg him to lets have a break for maybe a week or 2 but to my surprise he won’t. He said he will likely cheat if I stay away from him.

As I speak now, I have moved out of the house so I don’t die before my time. I don’t care anymore if he sleeps around or not, my life is more Important to me at this time. My family members have talked and talked but my Life is more Important before somebody tear my Intestine because of marriage.

6 Palestinians broke out of a high-security Israeli prison through the toilet

Six Palestinian militants on Monday September 6, broke out of a high-security Israeli prison.

Israeli Prisons Service said five of the fugitives belong to the Islamic Jihad movement and one is a former commander of an armed group affiliated with the mainstream Fatah party.

Police spokesman Eli Levy told Israeli Kan Radio;

“Overnight, we received a number of reports about suspicious figures in agricultural fields and from the prison service, which discovered very quickly that prisoners were missing from their cells and that six escaped.”

Arik Yaacov, the service’s northern commander said the escapees appeared to have opened an hole from their cell toilet floor to access passages formed by the prison’s construction.

Police, soldiers, and agents from Israel’s powerful internal security agency Shin Bet joined the search effort after the escape from Gilboa prison in northern Israel.  Sniffer dogs were deployed and checkpoints set up in the area surrounding Gilboa.

The army said its forces were “prepared and deployed” in the occupied West Bank as part of the operation.

Palestinian prisoners organisation which confirmed the development, said four of the men were serving life sentences. Fawzi Barhoum, a spokesman for the Islamist militant group Hamas said;

“This great victory proves again that the will and determination of our brave soldiers inside the prisons of the enemy cannot be defeated.”

One of the escapees was identified by the Prisons Service as Zakaria Zubeidi, a former commander of Fatah’s Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades in the West Bank city of Jenin. The brigades carried out deadly attacks against Israelis during a 2000-2005 Palestinian uprising.

The men were believed to have been headed for Jenin, where the internationally recognised Palestinian Authority wields little control and where Palestinians in recent weeks have confronted Israeli forces – some of whom were from the police’s Musta’ribeen – an undercover unit made up of Israelis disguised as Palestinians.

Taiwan launches its defence jets after several Chinese warplanes enter air defence zone

Taiwan’s defence ministry says it was forced to scramble jets after China sent in 19 jets including fighter planes as well as four H-6 bombers and an anti-submarine aircraft into it’s air defence zone on Sunday, September 5.

An air defence identification zone is an area outside of a country’s territory and national airspace but where foreign aircraft are still identified, monitored, and controlled in the interest of national security.

It is self-declared and technically remains international airspace.

Taiwan says 19 aircraft including fighters and nuclear-capable bombers entered its air defence identification zone (ADIZ), another intrusion by China’s air force near the island.

China sees democratic Taiwan as a breakaway province, but Taiwan sees itself as a sovereign state and receives millions in dollars of military funding from the US for self defense.

The defence ministry released a map showing a flight path north-east of the Pratas, closer to the Chinese coast than the Taiwanese coast.

Taiwan says it’s missile systems were deployed while combat aircraft werr dispatched to warn away the Chinese planes.

This is not the first time this year, that China is allegedly entering Taiwanese airspace.

In June, China sent 28 military jets into the ADIZ – the largest incursion reported by Taiwan to date.

On 24 January,  15 aircraft entered Taiwan’s air defence zone while on 12 April, Taiwan reported 25 jets.

Who is Pero Adeniyi, 2baba’s most dominant baby mama? (video)

Ms Adeniyi has dominated 2baba’s life for nearly two decades that many thought she would end up becoming his legal wife.

Pero Adeniyi, the dark-skinned beauty, and mother of superstar musician, Innocent Idibia aka 2baba’s three children, has remained a constant in his life for nearly two decades.

Sumnbo Adeoye nee Ajaba and his legal wife, Annie Macaulay, an actress, both bore him two children each.

Ms Adeoye has been married to the General Overseer of Christian Royal Center, David Adeoye, since 2013.

Ms Adeniyi had dominated the singer’s life for nearly two decades that many thought she would end up becoming his legal wife.

In a surprise move, the veteran singer married Macaulay instead at a glamorous ceremony in Dubai in 2012.

Adeniyi, who is the founder of ‘A life Alive Kidney Foundation’, occasionally makes the news but trended on Friday for the wrong reasons.

She has also been forced to set her Instagram page private to avoid the prying eyes of nosy fans.

This was after 2baba’s actress wife claimed that her husband ‘‘slept under the same roof’’ with her (Ms Adeniyi) and her children (Adeniyi’s children ) when they vacationed in Disneyland, U.S.

Neither 2baba or Adeniyi is yet to react to the allegations, but the singer’s brother, Charles, has waded into the matter.

Pero Adeniyi and family
2baba and the children he fathered with Pero Adeniyi.

Accusing his brother’s wife of drug addiction, Charles noted that she must have taken the wrong drugs from her ‘dealer’ to have come online to talk in that manner, of her husband.

History

Adeniyi, 43, who is based in the U.S., is the daughter of a wealthy Nigerian businessman, Jide Adeniyi.

A renowned makeup artist, she shot into the limelight after her affair with 2baba became public knowledge in 2005.

TEXEM

2face dated Pero in 2005 after an armed robbery attack in his then Festac apartment left him and his siblings injured and traumatised.

Interestingly, Macaulay, who has known 2baba since she was 15, was also in the picture at the time. Macaulay welcomed their first child, Isabelle, in December 2008.

Amidst a very turbulent relationship, Adeniyi gave 2baba three children (two boys & a girl). She also has a 20-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

Clearly a thorn in Macaulay’s flesh, she has remained a major reason why she (Macaulay) has had ‘sleepless nights’.

And several instances abound. Nonetheless, there has been a lot of drama between both women in the past couple of years.

Recall that a few years ago, they both fought over this issue of vacationing.

In July 2018, Macaulay made a post on Instagram appreciating estranged couples who are co-parenting and “Who don’t stress the other parents overseeing their kids’’.

Adeniyi’s relative, Eniola Titiloye, hit back at Macaulay calling her a hypocrite who harasses Adeniyi any time 2baba tries to check on her( Adeniyi’s) kids.

Three years earlier, Adeniyi broke the internet when she posted pictures of herself and 2baba kissing passionately at his Rumours night club. The pictures went viral.

2face Idibias Baby Mama Pero Adeniyi
Pero Adeniyi, the dark-skinned beauty, and mother of superstar musician, Innocent Idibia aka 2baba’s three children.

It marked the beginning of their unending rivalry while their frosty relationship took a front burner. Macaulay became the butt of Internet jokes and was compelled to issue a statement.

“ I am aware of the photos circulating the Internet with my husband and Pero Adeniyi. …Pero Adeniyi and this momentary indiscretion pose no threat whatsoever to my relationship with my husband. As a matter of fact, for all of our children’s sake, I do encourage cordial relationships with parties involved.”

This year, my focus is solely on God, family, and my career which doesn’t give me the luxury of paying attention to any distractions,” Macaulay said in a statement at the time

Wife not Babymama

For many years, Adeniyi was believed to be 2baba’s first baby mama but her father would later set the record straight in a 2019 interview with Asabe Afrika TV.

Mr Adeniyi sort of defined her daughter’s relationship with 2baba in the interview. He said his daughter “brought 2baba into his life” when she described him as her “man”.

2Baba celebrates Pero Adeniyi
Kissing photo of Pero & 2baba that was leaked in 2015.

He also claimed that 2baba was married to his daughter but went on to marry another woman (Macaulay) despite the fact that she gave him his first three children.

Also in the interview, he described her as very enterprising and business inclined.

Fake reconciliation?

Prior to their infamous ‘public’ reconciliation at the Crescendo Lounge in Ikeja, Lagos, in November 2018, Adeniyi and Macaulay were erstwhile sworn enemies.

2Baba broke down in tears after his wife and his first baby mama settled their rift.

While the circumstances around the reconciliation at the time remain unclear, 2baba could be heard in the video expressing how happy and moved to tears he was as a result of the two women patching up a longtime feud.

Both women finally hugged each other to the delight of guests at the event while 2baba’s popular hit track, One Love, played in the background.

The singer wept uncontrollably on Adeniyi’s shoulders before Macaulay stepped in and they all hugged.

Despite all the media attention she has received in nearly two decades, Adeniyi has never granted an interview nor responded to speculations about the status of her relationship with 2baba.

She has never been romantically linked to any man in all these years at least, publicly.

However, she has continued to keep her over 55,000 Instagram followers updated on her life milestones and precious moments.

She also regularly shares photos and videos of 2baba and their children anytime he visits them in the U.S.

Since the latest scandal broke on Friday morning, Adeniyi has gained almost 40,000 Instagram followers and counting.

Macaulay, on the other hand, has gained over 1 million new fans and currently boasts 7 million followers as of press time.

Zimbabwean Headmaster stabbed and robbed of school vehicle and cash while having s3x in the SUV

Headmaster of David Livingstone High School in Ntabazinduna, Zimbabwe has reportedly been robbed of the school’s US$50,000 worth Ford Ranger and cash by two armed robbers.

Vusumuzi Nkiwane was reportedly stabbed and robbed of the school truck and cash while having sex with his lover in the vehicle.

Inspector Abednico Ncube said the incident happened on 1 September in a wooded area near the United College of Education. The two robbers who were armed with an axe and a knife, pounced on Nkiwane and his lover and demanded for cash and the car keys.

The  headmaster allegedly tried to resist their demands but was forced to hand over US$455 and R4,000 in cash and car keys after one of the robbers stabbed him once on the thigh. The robbers forced the headmaster and his lover out of the car and drove away in the grey Ford Ranger owned by the Presbyterian-run school.

Inspector Ncube urged members of the public to use lodges and hotels while having sex, as it is very risky to go to the bush.

Ncube said;

“These people could have used US$20 at a lodge than to lose a car which is estimated to cost US$48,000 and cash to robbers.”

Taliban blocks 4 chartered planes with lots of evacuees from leaving Kabul, no reasons given

Four planes chartered to evacuate several hundred people seeking to escape the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan have been unable to leave the country for days, and it is unclear why.

An Afghan official at the airport in the northern city of Mazar-e-Sharif said that the would-be passengers were Afghans, many of whom did not have passports or visas, and thus were unable to leave the country. He said they had left the airport while the situation was sorted out.

A top Republican on the U.S. House Foreign Affairs Committee said that the airplanes’ passengers include Americans. He said the passengers were sitting on the planes, but the Taliban were not letting them take off, effectively “holding them hostage.”

Mr McCaul told Fox News there were six planes carrying American citizens and Afghan interpreters waiting at the airport.

He said;

“[The State Department] has cleared these flights and the Taliban will not let them leave the airport.

“We know the reason why is because the Taliban want something in exchange.”

Marina LeGree, founder and CEO of the NGO Ascend Athletics which works with Afghan girls and women, told the BBC that the number of planes could be higher than six, saying she has heard there could be as many as 1,000 people waiting to get out.

Her organisation has a group of 34 people who have been waiting to leave for six days, among them 19 Americans and two green card holders. They are part of a larger organised evacuation under the auspices of the US government.

Ms LeGree who revealed that the Taliban came into the place where people were being held and arrested people a couple of times. said she believed a dispute or negotiation between the Taliban and the Afghan airline Kam Air was holding up the flights.

She said;

“We’re just patiently waiting like everyone else and we’ve got people with families, there’s a three-year-old in our mix who has been hauled around for a week now.

“It’s just a worrying situation overall.”

However the Taliban has denied the claims, labelling them as propaganda. Spokesman of the Taliban, Zabihullah Mujahid told BBC;

“This is not true. Our Mujahideen have nothing to do with ordinary Afghans. This is propaganda and we reject it.”

The final days of America’s 20-year war in Afghanistan were marked by a harrowing airlift at Kabul’s airport to evacuate tens of thousands of people, Americans and their allies who feared what the future would hold, given the Taliban’s history of repression, particularly of women. However when the last troops pulled out on August 30, many were left behind.

Several British soldiers test positive for cannabis and cocaine in a drug test

A group of 19 soldiers from one squadron have tested positive for cocaine and cannabis in the United Kingdom’s army’s biggest ever drugs bust.

The soldiers from 1st Battalion of the Yorkshire Regiment had been taking the drugs at the barracks and at their home, army sources have revealed. TheSoldiers in the Catterick Garrison in North Yorkshire had complained they were bored and had nothing to do.

The majority of those caught were soldiers of Private rank but at least one was a Lance Corporal.

An army source reportedly told The Sun: ‘This is off the scale, it has sent shockwaves through the Army. Nineteen in one round of testing is a large number and raises very serious questions.

‘Before lockdown, the regiment were being tested every few weeks but this latest round was the first for quite a long time.

‘These are individual cases as well, it wasn’t one wild night out. Jaws were on the floor with shock.’

The army confirmed the report in a statement:

‘A number of soldiers from 1 YORKS recently failed a compulsory drugs test.

‘The Army does not tolerate drug abuse within its ranks as it is in- compatible with military service and operational effectiveness.

‘Army personnel caught taking drugs can expect to be discharged.’

A 39-year-old married teacher arrested for raping boy several times during private study

A 39-year-old married teacher identified as Krystal Jackson has been arrested after allegedly raping a 14-year-old boy at least three times during private study sessions in Fresno County, California.

Fresno County Sheriff’s Office and Central California Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force started their investigation against Jackson who teaches at Mountain View School in Reedley, an independent study high school which is part of the Kings Canyon Unified School District, after receiving a tip about her alleged actions.

The teacher who started working as an independent study teacher with Mountain View Independent School in Reedley last year, was arrested on Friday September 3 and is being held on a $215,000 bail.

Fresno County Sheriff Lt. Brandon Pursell told Your Central Valley;

“Mrs Jackson is in custody.

“We believe that our victim is safe, which we are grateful for, but we don’t know if there are other victims.”

Married teacher arrested for raping boy three times during private study

Jackson has been charged with four counts of rape, oral copulation with a child, lewd acts with a child, communicating with a child to commit a felony and meeting with a child for lewd purposes, and is believed to have had sex with the teen at least three times over the last year.

Detectives said she carried out the “continuous sexual abuse” while meeting the student for their regular once-a-week independent study sessions at Dunlap Leadership Academy.

Pursell added;

“The worst part of this is that our victim was abused, that is number one.

“But also the fact that our suspect is in a position of trust.”

The school district is working with law enforcement officials.  A statement released by the school read;

“Kings Canyon Unified School District administrators recently became aware of accusations regarding a Mountain View School teacher.

“District administrators are working diligently with law enforcement officials who are releasing details regarding their investigation.

“The safety of students and staff members continues to be a top priority and the district will provide counseling and support services to any students or staff members in need.

“The District cannot comment on confidential personnel matters.”

Conde, 83, was re-elected for a third term in October 2020 in an election marred by violence.

His arrest was announced within hours after heavy gunfire was heard in Guinea’s capital Conakry around the presidential palace on Sunday morning.

The situation remains unclear as Conde’s government said in an earlier statement that an attack on the presidential palace by special forces had been “repulsed.”

The report said soldiers were seen driving at high speeds through the capital near the presidential palace and urging residents to stay home.

A military source told local media that the only bridge connecting the mainland to the Kaloum neighborhood, which houses most of the ministries and presidential palace, had been sealed off by heavily armed troops posted around the palace.

“Tonteh Dikeh cheated during our relationship” – Tonto Dikeh’s ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri claims

Tonto Dikeh’s ex-boyfriend, Prince Kpokpogri has finally reacted to allegations of cheating on the actress while they together.

Kpokpogiri dared those claiming that he paid money over the evidence that was dug up against him, to come forward or “remain silent forever”.

Insinuating that he is the victim of a blackmail, the businessman also claimed there is plot to pull down men and the “recent revelation reveals we all need to be wary of Helen of Troy as it is glaring who had an ulterior motive all along”.

Stating that people have been asking him to maintain his silence, Kpokpogiri who yesterday hailed Tonto Dikeh’s ex-husband Olakunle Churchill, said he will be “doing future “potential victims” a favour by speaking up as this has become a pattern for her”.

The businessman disclosed that they dated for 3 months, and also alleged that Tonto Dikeh cheated right from the start of their relationship, begged for a second chance and threatened to kill herself if he didn’t forgive her.

Man kills friend after discovering video of him allegedly raping his 8-year-old daughter

A dad killed his friend after discovering footage of him raping his young daughter.

Vyacheslav M, 34, was out drinking with his child’s godfather, Oleg Sviridov, 32, in the village of Vintain in Russia’s Samara region, when he discovered footage, which allegedly depicted several children being abused, including his daughter.

Other sickening videos showed violent rapes of other village girls, aged six and 11, it is alleged.

The videos indicated that the suspect had been abusing children for five years.

Alleged pedophile

The dad, whose daughter was one of those abused in the video, immediately confronted Sviridov, who fled.

Vyacheslav then reported the rapes to police who launched a manhunt for Sviridov.

But the distraught dad found the alleged paedophile first and stabbed him to death, according to police.

He claimed that Sviridov “stumbled on the knife during a quarrel” in a forest near the village.

The body of the alleged paedophile was found near the village on Thursday, September 2, more than a week after Vyacheslav had seen the abusive video.

The dad was detained and the case is under investigation.

Criminal cases have also been opened into the sexual abuse of three children filmed on Sviridov’s mobile.

But villagers and online commenters have demanded that Vyacheslav should not face a murder charge.

One local said: “He is not a murderer. He protected his daughter and our children too. Everyone is on his side.”

Prominent TV journalist and former Russian presidential candidate Ksenia Sobchak told her followers: “All parents are standing up for the paedophile’s killer.”

Sviridov’s mum said that her son had often been a babysitter for Vyacheslav’s children.

The two men had been longtime friends, she said.

Reacting to the rape of Vyacheslav’s daughter by her son, she said: “I don’t know how it got to this.

He must have been drunk. Most likely he was drunk. They left their children with him all the time.

“When he was baby-sat these girls he came back home as normal, in a good mood.”

Paedophile Vicar jailed after his wife discovered child pornograghy and images on his phone

A paedophile vicar has been jailed after his wife discovered child abuse images on his mobile phone and turned the evidence over to police.

Gordon Newton from Huddersfield, West Yorkshire, England, was jailed after admitting to six counts of sexual assault of a child and three counts of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.

He also admitted three counts of making indecent images.

Newton’s 40-year-old wife had discovered horrific images on a mobile phone and handed it over to police, which forced Newton to confess to the offences.

Prosecutor Julian Jones heard how Newton searched for images of children between the ages of 2 and 16.

There were 70 images from category A found on his phone, with category A being the worst category.

When his devices were examined, it was discovered that one search term was specifically to look for images of children under three years old, along with others searches which were directed towards an interest in urination.

Newton’s wife told the court in a statement that she has had to have therapy as a result of the crimes, and had also begun to question her own faith.

The statement read: “I no longer know what is real and what to believe anymore. I question every bit of my life. Since February, my faith has been non-existent.”

Newton was jailed for six years and seven months with an extended licence period of three years.

Sentencing, Judge Tom Bayliss QC told Newton: “You hold yourself as a man of God, but you are nothing. You are a hypocrite.”

Judge Bayliss described his crimes as an “extremely wicked series of acts” adding that he had “abused the trust of so many others in so many ways”.

He added: “You used that child for your own sexual gratification. You placed your needs for sexual gratification over the needs and rights of an extremely vulnerable young child.”

Newton will be on the sex offenders’ register for life and a sexual harm prevention order was made for the same period of time.

DSS blocked American Lawyer from seeing Nnamdi Kanu in detention – Legal counsel alleges

The Department of State Services, DSS, has been accused of preventing Nnamdi Kanu from having access to his lawyers.

Kanu’s lead counsel, Ifeanyi Ejiofor, said the DSS prevented him and IPOB’s Attorney in the United States, Bruce Fein, from having access to the detained IPOB leader on Thursday, September 2.

DSS prevented American lawyer from seeing Nnamdi Kanu in detention ? Counsel alleges

In a statement he signed on Friday, September 3, Ejiofor described the  alleged action of the DSS as a violation of the order of an Abuja Federal High Court which allowed Kanu access to his lawyers twice a week.

DSS prevented American lawyer from seeing Nnamdi Kanu in detention ? Counsel alleges

The statement reads: “Yesterday Court ordered visit to Our Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was aborted by the officials of the State Security Services on a reason we find extremely ridiculous.

“Following the arrival of Mr. Bruce Fein, a foremost American trained Constitutional Law Lawyer and IPOB’s Attorney in the United States of America, the game obviously took an interesting twist.

“Despite our formal notification to the Service, in line with the existing protocol, and in compliance with the Court-Ordered guideline, the officials of the Department of State Security Services came up with an excuse, ‘that the person assigned to receive us during yesterday’s visit was on A SPECIAL ASSIGNMENT’, and as such, the visit cannot be conducted.

“This is not only ridiculous but a clear violation of the Court Order on guidelines for visiting our Client- Onyendu Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.”

The state of Nigerian Universities today – man cries

Our boys whom we sent to the Universities to study are now living in hotels doing Yahoo, defrauding people. They are not studying. They are sorting.

Bribing lecturers for pass. They only come into the campus with convoy once in a while to show off. Guess what? Some lecturers are even worshipping them.

Our teenage sons are now driving Benz in the university. They are now the latest boys in campus. The houses our sons are living in the university are now flats and duplexes as against the self-contained we used to know.

Well furnished and more beautiful compare to room of some state governorsOur sons are all married in the university but single at home. Girls crawl around them… living with them, cooking for them, doing all sort of things with them…These girls are our daughters whom we sent to the university to study.

They are in every clubs and hotels….they are in every front cars, fastening seatbelt, snapping and moving their lips like ndị ogbi.My recent research in Nigerian universities opened my eyes to the recent ugly reality.

I wept for the future. These are teenagers not even adults.Guess what?We still see them as children who know nothing.I don’t want to mention names of hotels in Nsụka, Ọka, Delta, Owere, Calabar, etc you will see your sons and daughters.

They have been living there for months. Nobody is going to school. Who school help? Don’t you get it? Those teenagers— boys and girls are abusing drugs. Fa na-ese gwoogwo n’igbo. Not just igbo but cocaine and tramadols.

I have boarded a vehicle with a young girl in UNN who had some crack (cocaine) in her purse. Because she’s too beautiful, police that stopped us to search didn’t search her but searched us all. On the way, she brought it out, gently fix some into her nose and threw the little remaining substance through the window.

I remained deaf and dumb until I got to my destination and paused, she paused; both of us paused.Who will save this generation??? Unfortunately, they are the leaders of tomorrow….. There is huge task ahead of us.

We must salvage our Nation lest she slides into precipice of no return.

MAY GOD GIVE US THE WISDOM TO HANDLE THIS DELICATE MATTER, AND SAVE OUR CHILDREN, AMEN !

Marriage advice: How ladies can get married faster and better – man opines

LADIES PLEASE TAKE NOTE!!!!!

Men attend to Women for two reasons, SEX, and LOVE, but in most cases, men do not Marry for Sex or for Love, they marry for STABILITY.

Let me explain:

A man can Love you and not Marry you.A man can have sex with you for years without marrying you. But immediately he finds someone who brings stability in his life, he marries her.

What I mean by Stability is “Peace of Mind”I have seen some guys who made this statement “I love this lady but I don’t think I can spend the rest of my life with her.”

Men are visionaries when they think about marriage, they do not think about wedding dresses, bridesmaids, anything that most Ladies thinks is fanciful.

They think whether this woman can build me a home,Can she take care of my kids and I,Can she give me PEACE of mind?. Men don’t like Ladies who gives them discomfort, This is why a man can stay with a woman for years and meet another in a month, then get married to her.

It’s the comfort of having Peace of Mind they want.Sex is a pleasure, love is an affection, RESPECT is Stability ♥️

I love you all.

Update: Ex. Female Police officer who shot Daunte Wright charged with first-degree manslaughter

A first-degree manslaughter charge has now been filed against former Brooklyn Center Police Officer Kim Potter, who had already been charged with second-degree manslaughter in the death of Daunte Wright.

Minnesota Attorney General Keith Ellison added the charge against Potter this week.

The maximum sentence for first-degree manslaughter is 15 years and a $30,000 fine and for second-degree manslaughter, it’s 10 years and a $20,000 fine.

Update: Former Police officer who shot Daunte Wright charged with first-degree manslaughter

Wright, a 20-year-old Black man, died of a gunshot wound to the chest in April 2021, according to the Hennepin County Medical Examiner’s Office, which classified the manner of death as a homicide.

He was shot and killed during a traffic stop  in Brooklyn Center, after officer Potter said she mistook her taser for a gun and fired at him. He died about 10 miles from where George Floyd, another black man was killed by a Minneapolis police officer last year.

Body camera video showed Potter yelled, “Taser!” but fired her service weapon, killing the 20-year-old Wright as he tried to get back into his car.

According to a police report filed at the time, Potter said thought she’d grabbed her Taser instead of a gun.

Potter was charged with manslaughter three days after the shooting. In the weeks following the shooting, activists demanded Potter be charged with third-degree murder.

Potter, 48, had been with Brooklyn Center Police for 26 years before she submitted her resignation following the shooting.

Potter’s trial is scheduled to start Nov. 30.

Ben Crump, Tony Romanucci and Jeff Storms, attorneys for Wright’s family, issued the following statement:

“The amended Complaint further details how no reasonable officer could confuse their sidearm for a TASER. Kimberly Potter’s killing of Daunte Wright was not a mere accident. We and Daunte’s family all commend Attorney General Ellison and his team for working to obtain the strongest and most just conviction possible.”

‘Do not interfere with our culture and treatment of women’ – Taliban spokesperson warns US

A Taliban spokesperson has warned the US not to interfere with Afghanistan culture even as the group will like to have a normal better relationship with the US following the militant group’s takeover of Afghanistan.

According to the Taliban “there will be no issue about women’s rights” despite widespread international concerns.

Speaking to Fox News on Friday, September 3, Suhail Shaheen said he opposes Western views that “women should have an education without [a] hijab.”

“That is a change of culture,… Our culture… they can receive education with hijab. They can work with hijab.”

When asked about future relations with the U.S., Shaheen said, “We should be focusing how can we work together in a positive and constructive way which is in the best of interest of both sides.”

“There will be no issue about the women’s rights. No problem about their education, their work,” he added. “But we should not be after changing each other’s culture as we are not intending to change your culture, you should not be changing our culture.”

Shaheen also described the U.S. military withdrawal from Afghanistan as the closure of one chapter in the country’s history.

“We have closed one chapter. For us it was occupation. We ended that, we were staging resistance,” he told Fox News. “But now it is closed. It is the past. We have to focus on the future that is better for them and for us.”

Shaheen’s comments came after reports emerged that a new interim government will be announced soon in Kabul.

A source close to the militant group told Reuters that the interim government would consist only of Taliban members, contain 25 ministries and a consultative council of a dozen Muslim scholars.

“R.Kelly gave me herpes and we secretly settled for $200,000” – Accuser tells court

A woman who testified at R. Kelly’s sex abuse trial on Friday September 3, claimed she reached a $200,000 settlement with the R&B singer after she contracted herpes.

The woman, who identified herself as Kate, took to the stand to testify against the world-famous R&B singer at his sex abuse trial in Brooklyn.

Kate claimed she was 27 when she met Kelly in 2001, and contracted herpes from him after they slept together. She told the court Kelly was tight-lipped when she later accused him of giving her the sexually transmitted disease.

Kate said she settled with the singer in 2004, and that the herpes diagnosis ‘greatly affected’ her ability to enter future relationships.

Her personal physician has also testified, saying he treated the star for herpes for several years.

Kelly’s lawyer Deveraux Cannick used his cross-examination to undercut earlier testimony that Kelly demanded that his girlfriends follow strict rules.

These rules have included needing Kelly’s permission to go to the bathroom, looking away from other men, and not talking about Kelly in his absence, several witnesses have testified.

Kate told Cannick that Kelly behaved differently around her, letting her go to the bathroom when she wanted and not making her wait around for him for long periods. She also said she helped him write down song lyrics.

Kelly, 54, whose full name is Robert Sylvester Kelly, has been on trial since Aug.18 for running an alleged decade-long racketeering scheme targeting women and girls for sex, with help from employees and assistants. He has pleaded not guilty.

US Capitol Riot: QAnon Shaman may be jailed for 20 years

A bare-chested “shaman” wearing horns and face paint who became one of the most infamous faces of the US Capitol insurrection, has pleaded guilty to felony.

The Arizona man identified as Jacob Anthony Chansley was caught on camera shirtless, carrying a spear and sporting a horned fur hat during the violence. It became one of the images synonymous with the infamous day and he also became known as the “QAnon Shaman”.

He pleaded guilty on Friday September 3, to obstructing a US congressional meeting and also admitted to “disorderly and disruptive conduct” when he obstructed congressional proceedings and threatened officials.

Chansley who has been a subscriber to QAnon, the far-right conspiracy theory blamed for fueling the unrest, had told the court he had “mental vulnerabilities,” although psychiatric professionals had certified Chansley was competent to stand trial before the case.

Defence lawyer of the insurrectionist who has already been in prison for 8 months before the plea, said on Friday September 3 that Chansley was disappointed that Trump did not pardon him.

US Capitol Riot: QAnon Shaman pleads guilty to felony

His lawyer Albert Watkins said the solitary confinement that Chansley faced for most of his time in jail has had an adverse effect on his mental health and that his time in Colorado helped him regain his sharpness.

Watkins who asked the court to be lenient as “Mr Chansley has zero criminal history”, also said Chansley expressed regret at what he had done and apologized to anyone he had scared throughout the unrest.  He also said his client has since repudiated the QAnon movement and asked that there be no more references to his past affiliations with the movement.

Chansley’s sentencing was scheduled for November 17 and he could face 41 to 51 months in prison, according to guidelines estimated by the prosecution.

Watkins had also reportedly asked for his client to be released from detention pending sentencing, a request US District Judge Royce Lamberth said will be considered.

Nearly 600 people have been arrested over the attack on the Capitol where Congress was meeting to certify Joe Biden’s November victory over Trump. Earlier, Trump had given a fiery speech falsely claiming his defeat was the result of fraud. Fifty others have pleaded guilty, mostly to misdemeanour charges of demonstrating in the Capitol.

Nigerian Govt. accusses IPOB of stockpiling weapons across the country

President Muhammadu Buhari has accused the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, of stockpiling weapons across Nigeria.

Buhari, who spoke through his mouthpiece, Garba Shehu, said IPOB members killed security agents and set government facilities in the Southeast ablaze.

He stated this in response to claims by the Amnesty International on human rights violation in the Southeast.

Shehu, in a statement issued on Wednesday, lamented that Amnesty International was defending IPOB which is a terrorist group.

He accused Amnesty International of backing a terrorist organisation against victims of IPOB.

The statement titled: “Why Amnesty entreaties should be ignored”, reads partly: “Amnesty International’s latest salvo at Nigeria is but more of the same.

“Again, they have decided to side with terrorists, before the liberty of those they injure, displace and murder.

“Parroting the line of Nnamdi Kanu and IPOB, a proscribed terror organisation, they work to legitimise its cause to Western audiences.

“This puts them in bad company. IPOB murder Nigerian citizens. They kill police officers and military personnel and set government property on fire.

“Now, they have amassed a substantial stockpile of weapons and bombs across the country.

“Were this group in a western country, you would not expect to hear Amnesty’s full-throated defence of their actions.”

IPOB’s call for the breakup of Nigeria had led to some members of the group allegedly resorting to civil disobedience.

Lately, attacks on security agents and facilities in the Southeast has been linked to IPOB and its militia arm, the Eastern Security Network, ESN.

Despite the connection, IPOB had severally denied any claims of its members attacking security agents and facilities in the Southeast.

IPOB had insisted that its members rely on peaceful approach in the push for Biafra.

Bamidele Muraina, Online Scammer, sentenced to 70months in jail over $2.6m fraud in the U.S

A Nigerian man named Bamidele Muraina has been sentenced to 70 months in prison over $2.6m fraud in the U.S.

35-year-old Bamidele, better known as Dele Ewe, was also ordered by a U.S. court to pay $561,125.62 in restitution.

His conspirator, Gabriel Kalembo, 33, of Zambian, was sentenced to 50 months in prison and ordered to pay $298,008.71 in restitution.

A statement released by the U.S Justice Department said, “Bamidele Muraina, a Nigerian national who hacked into tax preparation firms and filed fraudulent unemployment benefit claims and tax returns using stolen personally identifiable information, and Gabriel Kalembo, a previously convicted fraudster who laundered the fraudulent assets, have been sentenced to federal prison.”

Acting U.S. Attorney Kurt R. Erskine said: “These defendants stole funds from programs meant to assist American workers and families seeking to make ends meet during the COVID-19 pandemic.

“The collaborative efforts of our law enforcement partners were essential to disrupting a sophisticated network of criminals and bringing their leaders to justice.”

Bamidele Muraina engaged in a conspiracy to defraud the Employment Security Department of Washington State (“ESD-WA”) by filing dozens of fraudulent unemployment insurance (UI) claims in the names of identity theft victims who were not entitled to such benefits.

Nigerian fraudster, Bamidele Muraina, sentenced to 70months in jail over $2.6m fraud in the U.S

As part of the same conspiracy, Gabriel Kalembo and his conspirators laundered the unlawfully obtained UI benefits from ESD-WA by purchasing and then later negotiating hundreds of money orders.

According to Acting U.S. Attorney Erskine, Bamidele Muraina was a Nigerian national residing in the metro Atlanta area at the time of his offenses.

Between at least January 29, 2018, and continuing through approximately April 2020, Muraina hacked into multiple tax preparation and accounting firms located in several states, including a Brunswick, Georgia-based accounting firm.

Muraina obtained access to the firms’ accounts with a national tax preparation program, stole personally identifiable information from their clients, and filed more than 275 fraudulent individual income tax returns in their names via the Internet.

In total, Muraina’s fraudulent tax returns using stolen identities sought refunds from the IRS exceeding $2.6 million from 2018 through 2020.

Nigerian fraudster, Bamidele Muraina, sentenced to 70months in jail over $2.6m fraud in the U.S

Between May 9, 2020, and May 16, 2020, Muraina used stolen personally identifiable information from Washington residents to submit false claims for unemployment insurance benefits in Washington.

Muraina’s false claims exploited a federal COVID-19 pandemic relief program created by the Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which expanded eligibility for unemployment benefits and provided an additional unemployment benefit of $600 per week.

Based on Muraina’s fraudulent claims submitted in the names of approximately fifty Washington residents over a one-week span, the State of Washington issued more than $280,000 in unemployment benefits.

Muraina directed fraudulent funds from his unemployment benefits scheme and tax fraud scheme to be deposited into bank accounts set up by co-conspirators, including Gabriel Kalembo, who was convicted in 2017 of conspiracy to commit wire and bank fraud in the Northern District of Georgia.

Kalembo recruited Zambian nationals to travel to the United States on tourist visas to incorporate sham corporations in Georgia and open business bank accounts in the names of those corporations.

After the fraudulent funds were deposited into those accounts, Kalembo laundered the funds by cashing money orders purchased with debit cards linked to the accounts.

Bamidele Muraina, 35, of Oyo, Nigeria was sentenced by U.S. District Judge William M. Ray II to five years and ten months in prison to be followed by three years of supervised release, and he ordered Muraina to pay $561,125.62 in restitution.

Gabriel Kalembo, 33, of Atlanta, Georgia was sentenced by Judge Ray to four years and two months in prison to be followed by two years of supervised release, and he ordered Kalembo to pay $298,008.71 in restitution.

The case was investigated by the U.S. Secret Service, the Department of Labor Office of Inspector General, the Internal Revenue Service Criminal Investigation, the Department of Homeland Security-Homeland Security Investigations, and the United States Postal Inspection Service.

Assistant U.S. Attorneys Nathan P. Kitchens, Chief of the Public Integrity and Special Matters Section, Sarah E. Klapman, and Lauren T. Macon are prosecuting the case.

Afghanistan: Taliban and anti-Taliban group engage in heavy gunfire last night

On Thursday night, September 2, heavy clashes occured around Afghanistan’s northern Panjshir Valley between Taliban fighters and an anti-Taliban group, according to a source within the group.

Panjshir Valley, a mountainous, inaccessible region north of Kabul, is the last major stronghold holding out against Taliban rule, and has a long history of resisting the insurgent group.

For the past four decades the NRF has rebuffed advances by the British Empire’s army, Soviet forces and the Taliban.

Afghanistan: Heavy clashes erupt between Taliban and anti-Taliban group in the last province not controlled by Taliban

But following the Taliban’s takeover of Afghanistan, with the exception of the Panjshir region that is controlled by the NRF, the Taliban advanced into the region on Thursday night.

The Taliban have been massing forces in and around Panjshir province in recent weeks, and said on Monday they had captured three districts in the valley.

But the NRF said Thursday’s overnight clashes between the Taliban and the National Resistance Front of Afghanistan (NRF) were very intense.

“They (Taliban) are using their last power to get in, but clashes are still ongoing,” an NRF source said .

Earlier on Thursday, Fahim Dashti, an NRF spokesperson, said in an audio message that the Taliban lost 40 of their forces in their ongoing attempts to enter Panjshir. Ali Nazary, another spokesperson from the group, said Thursday that the Taliban had also lost a number of heavy equipment and weaponry that had been destroyed.

Current NRF leader

On Wednesday, a Taliban leader called on Panjshiris to accept an amnesty and avoid fighting, but acknowledged that negotiations had thus far yielded no result. He said the situation “should be resolved peacefully,” but did not directly address the claims of renewed fighting and casualties.

After the USSR, which controlled Kabul  in the 1980s, withdrew from Afghanistan in 1989, various factions of Islamic holy warriors split into groups, fighting for control of the country.

The Northern Alliance also known as the NRF was soon formed and led by Ahmad Shah Massoud.

Massoud led an anti-Taliban offensive until he was assassinated by al Qaeda operatives two days before the September 11, 2001 attacks.

The NRF, is now led by Massoud’s son, Ahmad Massoud, who has vowed to continue the fight against the Taliban in the wake of their near takeover of Afghanistan.

People fleeing the Taliban, including the former Afghan Vice President, Amrullah Saleh, have also sought refuge in the Valley.

North Korea’s Kim Jong-un summons for climate change actions

North Korea’s leader, Kim Jong Un has highlighted the danger of climate change while calling on his government officials to deal with food supply issues in the secretive state.

Weeks of drought followed by heavy monsoon rains have damaged crops this year in the country while last year Typhoons badly impacted vital crops.

Making a speech to the ruling party’s Politburo on Thursday, September 2,  Kim said measures to overcome “abnormal climate” were needed, and ordered his officials to tackle drought and floods.

Kim had said that the “danger” of climate change had become “higher in recent years adding that “urgent action” needed to be taken.

“River improvement, afforestation for erosion control, dyke maintenance and tide embankment projects”, should be prioritised.

Apart from the damage caused by natural disasters, North Korea’s economy has been hit hard by international sanctions, as well as border closures and harsh lockdowns to prevent the spread of Covid.

Although North Korea has not reported any Covid cases, it has sealed its borders and imposed lockdowns.

“Tightening epidemic prevention is the task of paramount importance which must not be loosened even a moment under the present situation,” said Mr Kim, according to state media.

This announcement comes after the UN said North Korea had rejected an offer of almost three million Covid-19 jabs.

Princess Charlene of Monaco gets infection in South Africa, rushed to a nearby hospital

Princess Charlene of Monaco is in a stable condition after being rushed to a hospital following a collapse at her South African lodge on Wednesday night.

The royal, 43, was admitted to the Netcare Alberlito Hospital after the ‘medical emergency’ caused by complications from an infection she contracted in May.

A foundation set up in her name said in a statement on Friday: ‘Her Serene Highness Princess Charlene of Monaco was rushed to hospital by ambulance late on Wednesday night after collapsing due to complications from the severe ear, nose and throat infection she contracted in May.

‘Her medical team is currently evaluating her but have confirmed the princess is stable.’

The hospital refused to confirm what procedures or checks were carried out citing confidentiality legislation, but a source said she had been admitted as a VIP patient and treated on a separate floor to other patients.

Charlene was last seen in Monaco in January and has been in her home country of South Africa for months.

In May, she fell ill with a ‘serious sinus infection’ and two weeks ago she underwent a ‘four-hour operation under general anaesthesia’.

The palace said at the time: “During a trip to the African continent as part of a wildlife conservation mission, Princess Charlene contracted an ENT infection that does not allow her to travel.”

Charlene was first seen in South Africa back in March this year as she attended the funeral of Zulu King Goodwill Zwelithini kwaBhekuzulu in Nongoma, KwaZulu-Natal.

She was born in Zimbabwe but grew up in South Africa after her family moved there in 1989.

The former Olympic swimmer also stayed in the nation to raise awareness around rhino poaching.

She was meant to return to Monaco to make an appearance at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix in Monte Carlo on May 23.

Queen Elizabeth’s funeral secret plans leaked

Secret plans for funeral of Queen Elizabeth II is reportedly being made ahead of her death.

Leaked documents obtained by Politico titled ‘Operation London Bridge’, also revealed official concerns over how to cope with the strain of people that might flood to the capital.

It is speculated that the death of UK’s longest serving monarch, will trigger 11 days of official events, including the accession to the throne of Prince Charles, culminating in a state funeral. Vast crowds are expected to descend on the capital to see the Queen lying in state before a Westminster Abbey service.

Though it is unclear if the documents represent the most up-to-date arrangements as plans for the Queen’s passing change regularly, the confidential papers however said the Prime Ministers will be informed first and make a statement to the nation.

Members of the Privy Council Office will also be informed, as will ministers and senior politicians and civil servants.

Prince Charles who will be proclaimed king the following day, will speak to the country a few hours after the Prime Minister.

According to the plans, the late sovereign”s coffin will lie in state for three days at the Houses of Parliament, with authorities anticipating hundreds of thousands of people to descend on London – sparking fears over gridlock, policing and even food shortages.

There will be a supposedly “spontaneous” service at St Paul’s Cathedral, according to Politico, and the new King Charles will tour the four nations of the United Kingdom in the days after her death.

The British prime minister and the monarch are said to be in agreement that the day of her state funeral will be a day of national mourning. It will effectively be a holiday, although not described as such.

Thoughh Buckingham Palace officials have declined to comment, either on the leak or the plans, The Guardian in 2017 published a long article revealing details about Operation London Bridge, which covered how the new King Charles will be proclaimed at St James’s Palace amid visiting royalty.

The Queen has reigned since February 1952, and is now 95. There is no indication that the Queen is in poor health, and plans for her funeral have not been urgently revised recently, it is understood.

‘Fulani Herdsmen have become a menace’ – Bishop Oyedepo declares (video)

Senior Pastor of the Living Faith Church, Bishop David Oyedepo, has said that Fulani herdsmen have become a menace in Nigeria and that he knows that they are being sponsored.

His statement comes even as herders under the Miyetti Allah Kauta Hore have said they will not recognize the Southern governors’ anti-grazing policy, describing it as ‘satanic.’

Oyedepo while preaching in his church recently, said the last five years from 2015 till now has been the worst in the history of Nigeria.

”Fulani herdsmen have become a menace. They are sponsored. I know it. There are things you think you know that God shows to prophets. The things they are calling findings now, I found it longest time. You don’t need intelligence antenna as a Prophet to find it.

I saw this government coming in with a bloodthirsty cloth and I cried.

The worst time in the history of Nigeria is 2015 to now and it is getting worse day by day.

The end has finally come.

Apart from us in the Jesus family, many have never had a smile in the last five years on our street. We don’t have records so we don’t know how many have committed suicide.”

The clergyman dismissed insinuations that he has been speaking because he is interested in running for Presidency

”If they dash me presidency, I wouldn’t take it. I knew that 1984, not now. I am not talking about Presidency. It is not an area I am called to. It is a very great office. It is not my calling.”

… and the Taliban closest ally is ‘China’ !

Taliban officials have declared China as their closest ally in the international community.

The militants say Beijing is “ready to invest in and reconstruct” Afghanistan and describe the nation as their “principal partner”.

Zabihulla Mujahid, the spokesman for the group,  stated the Chinese would help to revive Afghan copper mining. He also praised the Chinese for their One Belt One Road investment project which has forged forward despite criticism from western countries.

China is one of the few countries which did not evacuate staff from their Kabul embassy in the wake of the Taliban’s takeover.

It was also been reported that a Taliban delegation visited China in July for talks with the foreign minister Wang Yi, in Tianjin.

Mr. Mujahid told the Italian newspaper La Repubblica: “China is our principal partner and for us represents a fundamental and extraordinary opportunity because it’s ready to invest in and reconstruct our country.

“We hold in high regard the One Belt One Road project that will serve to revive the ancient Silk Road.

“Beyond that, we have rich copper mines which thanks to the Chinese can be brought back into production and modernised.

“China represents our passport towards the markets of the whole world.”

His comments come after  Foreign Secretary Dominic Raab declared that Britain won’t be “recognising the Taliban at any time in the foreseeable future.”

But he said there was a need for “direct engagement” with the group, to ensure UK nationals and Afghan allies could leave Afghanistan.

Prime Minister Boris Johnson reiterated the message, adding that if the Taliban wanted to engage with the West then “the first priority for them for us is safe passage for those who want to leave”.

Raab also said that evacuation flights from Afghanistan could resume “in the near future” after talks with leaders in Qatar.

R. Kelly accuser accused him of coercing her to give him oral sex

Another accuser has testified that R. Kelly allegedly kept a gun by his side as the singer forced her to give him oral sex in a Los Angeles music studio.

The witness, who took the stand and was identified only as ‘Faith’, testified about her alleged terrifying encounter with the singer when she was 19, during his trafficking trial in a New York federal court on Wednesday.

Faith, who is R Kelly’s  6th alleged victim said during her fourth trip to meet up with Kelly in 2018, he took her into a small room of a Los Angeles music studio, and when she noticed a gun by his side he told her ‘don’t look at it.’

She then testified that Kelly, 54, began inquiring about her sexual history, asking her ‘how many men have you seen naked?’ and warned her if she lied ‘there would be an issue.’

The witness then testified that Kelly made he strip and perform oral sex on him against her will.

‘He had a weapon, so I wasn’t going to step out of line,’ she said as to why she went through with the sexual act.

Afterwards, she said Kelly told her ‘he likes a woman that reminds him of a puppy, his daughter or his mom, and added, ‘I still have a lot to teach you.’

She testified the last time she saw Kelly at a New York City hotel suite, she resisted having sex with him. She said he responded by warning her not to defy him, saying, ‘I’m a f–ing legend.’

Shortly after the latest incident, she said she ended the year-long relationship.

Kelly, who denies all the charges against him, was visibly uncomfortable – shaking his head, and touching his face when Faith described resisting sex with him, the New York Times reported.

He also visibly reacted when she testified that Kelly masturbated while watching a video he had made of different women he told her he was ‘raising’ by putting his head down and rubbing his head, the Times added.

Kelly’s alleged intimidation tactics were all part of an abusive sexual relationship that started when the woman was 19 and resulted in her getting herpes from him, she said.
