Hip-hop mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs has reportedly sold a significant Los Angeles property for $6.51 million, a residence prominently associated with his late former girlfriend and mother of three of his children, Kim Porter.
The sprawling nearly 10,000-square-foot estate, located in the exclusive Toluca Lake neighborhood, served as the primary home for Kim Porter, an actress and model who shared a long-term relationship and three children with Combs. Tragically, Porter passed away from pneumonia at the property in 2018 at the age of 47, adding a poignant layer to the home’s history.

Described by listing agent Carl Gambino of Compass as “one of the largest and grandest homes in Toluca Lake,” the gated traditional-style residence sits on a spacious half-acre lot. Toluca Lake, situated about 12 miles northwest of downtown Los Angeles in the San Fernando Valley, is known for its prestigious streets.
Inside, the luxurious property boasts a grand two-story entry foyer with a gallery level, leading into a great room complete with a fireplace and custom built-ins. This central living space seamlessly opens up to a private outdoor oasis featuring a pool and spa area. The expansive layout also includes a large eat-in kitchen.
Unique design touches are evident throughout the home’s six bedrooms, which feature distinct color palettes including black, aqua, and bright pink, as revealed in listing photos. Beyond the main living areas, the property offers a dedicated media room, an inviting outdoor fireplace perfect for entertaining, a sports court, and a three-car garage, providing ample space for lavish living and recreation.
Combs originally acquired the residence in 2009 for $5.25 million through a limited liability company tied to one of his long-time advisors, indicating a profitable return on his investment. Representatives for the music mogul have not yet commented on the sale.
Sean Combs, a three-time Grammy Award winner, is one of hip-hop’s most influential figures, celebrated for chart-topping hits like “I’ll Be Missing You” and “It’s All About the Benjamins.” He also founded the iconic Bad Boy Records in 1993, launching the careers of artists such as Faith Evans and The Notorious B.I.G.
