American rapper, Lil Wayne pleaded guilty on Friday to a federal charge that he possessed a weapon despite being a convicted felon, and faces up to 10 years in prison.
The rapper, whose real name is Dwayne Michael Carter, admitted possessing the .45 calibre gun and six rounds of ammunition after his private plane was searched on arriving in Miami from California on 23 December 2019.
A search warrant said the father-of-four told investigators the gun was a Father’s Day gift.
He entered the plea during a hearing held remotely before U.S. District Judge Kathleen Williams.
“Your honor, I plead guilty to the charge,” Carter told the judge.
The federal charge carries a maximum prison sentence of 10 years, but likely Carter will get far less time than that, according to reports. He is free on $250,000 bail but had to surrender his passport.
The charge stems from a weapons conviction for Carter in New York more than a decade ago, for which he was sentenced to eight months in prison as convicted felons are barred under federal law from possessing firearms.
Carter’s lawyer, Howard Srebnick, said he considered a motion to suppress the search of the plane as a violation of the rapper’s constitutional rights.
“I must say I thought it was a very viable motion. He has decided not to pursue a motion to suppress,” Srebnick said.
The Miami U.S. attorney’s office also said in the news release that investigators found small amounts of cocaine, ecstasy, and oxycodone in a bag belonging to Carter, but he was not charged with any drug crime.
The US government has finally approved the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use.
The Food and Drug Administration is “rapidly” working toward clearing Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use after a key panel overwhelmingly endorsed the shots Thursday evening, December 10, Commissioner Stephen Hahn said in a statement Friday.
Stephen Hahn, the Commissioner of Food and Drugs said in a statement on Friday December 11, that the Food and Drug Administration is “rapidly” working toward clearing Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine for emergency use after a key panel overwhelmingly endorsed the shots on Thursday evening.
“Following yesterday’s positive advisory committee meeting outcome regarding the Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration has informed the sponsor that it will rapidly work toward finalization and issuance of an emergency use authorization,” Hahn said in a joint statement with Dr. Peter Marks, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research.
“The agency has also notified the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and Operation Warp Speed, so they can execute their plans for timely vaccine distribution,” Hahn and Marks said.
Hahn added in a tweet that the FDA “is finalizing the necessary documents to ensure that patients and providers have the information that they need to make informed decisions and to safely administer the vaccine.”
The FDA’s comments come after the FDA’s Vaccines and Related Biological Products Advisory Committee on Thursday voted 17 to 4 with one abstention to recommend the vaccine, which the company developed alongside BioNTech, for emergency authorization.
The authorization of the vaccine should come “in the next couple of days,” Alex Azar, secretary of the Department of Health and Human Services, said on Friday on ABC’s “Good Morning America.”
“We’re looking at 20 million Americans being vaccinated just in the next coming weeks, up to 50 million total by the end of January, and we believe we can have 100 million actual vaccinations in arm by the end of February,” Azar said.
President Donald Trump, who has grown impatient with the authorization process in recent weeks, wrote in a tweet:

World football governing body, FIFA, has announced that Juventus/Portugal attacker, Cristiano Ronaldo, Barcelona/Argentina forward Lionel Messi and Bayern Munich/Poland striker Robert Lewandowski are the three finalists for The Best FIFA Men’s Player award.
On November 25, a shortlist of 11 players including Kevin De Bruyne, Sadio Mane, Kylian Mbappe, Neymar, Sergio Ramos, Mohamed Salah, Thiago Alcantara and Virgil van Dijk was unveiled for the prize.
Lewandowski is considered the favorite for this year’s award after helping his club win the treble while breaking goal scoring records.
Ronaldo claimed the prize in both 2016 and 2017, when he dominated the voting after leading Real Madrid to successive Champions League trophies.
Messi, meanwhile, is the reigning holder of the prize but is widely regarded to have had a disappointing year where his club went trophyless

Lewandowski speaking to OLE admits the competition is fierce.
“If you scored a lot of goals and won everything and were at the top, I don’t think there’s anyone I can compare myself to,” the Pole said.
“I just focus and think about the next challenge, and so on. If I win the award, of course I will be happy because I know everything I did, that it was for the team, and I know that it will be a decision of the fans and the journalists who vote.

The Rwandan government has announced plans to offer free COVID-19 vaccination to citizens when the country receives the vaccine next year.
Health Minister Daniel Ngamije made the announcement during an interview with public broadcaster Rwanda Television on Friday, December 11.
“We will start with health personnel because they are part of people at high risk of being infected, people with comorbidity as well as elderly 65 years and above. These are the groups that are priority for getting the vaccine at zero cost,” Ngamije said.
The health ministry is working to ensure it is ready to receive the vaccine when it is rolled out and the first batch of the vaccine could be received around March 2021, said Ngamije.
While forecasting a good acceptance of the vaccination among citizens, the minister said the government is mobilizing resources that will facilitate vaccination coverage to gradually increase from 20 percent to 60 percent.
A boy sent heartbreaking last text to his friend before jumping under a train in front of classmates, an inquest was told.
Sam Connor, 14, had “joked” about suicide pacts with pals prior to the tragedy at Chertsey station in Surrey in July 2019.
An inquest at Woking Coroner’s Court heard how the Year 9 pupil had spoken about taking his own life.

One schoolmate said: “That day (July 15) he had been joking about killing himself but he had done it lots of times before so we thought he was just joking.”
The coroner also heard that Sam had texted a pupil to say “I am going for a while, do not forget me” before the incident.
The inquest also heard evidence from several school children who were at the station the day Sam died.
The inquest heard how there was “a lot of confusion and screaming” as the school day had not long ended and scores of pupils were at the station waiting to go home.
Sam had talked about suicide with his friends several times on the day he died and prior to it, but all of them believed he was not being serious.
One pupil said: “Sam was slouching (in class) and he told me he wanted to commit suicide.
“He either said he wanted to or ‘I am going to’.”
“I always thought they were throwaway comments. He tried to give me his phone and keys but I did not take them.
“I told him he had a long life to live.”
Witness statements from pupils also referred to a folded up note, found tucked inside Sam’s book which he was studying for English.
Written on it were the words “give this to the authorities” and inside there was a list of names – but no “specific problems” have been found linking the names to Sam.
Head of school, Paul Gower attended the hearing on Thursday, Dec 10, and said no details of Sam’s references to suicide were passed on to teachers.
But the suicide pact was viewed as “a joke between friends and nothing more” according to one student, who thought Sam “never actually meant it”.
In statements read loud in court, pupils said Sam was “funny and jokey”, “always made people happy” and was “joking constantly”.
Mr Gower said: “Many of his friends thought it was one big joke and they thought nothing would ever come of it.
“They genuinely did not think it, so did not pass on that information.”
Sam’s mother, who also attended Thursday’s proceedings, asked Mr Gower why no one pulled Sam aside and asked “Are you okay?”.
She also asked Mr Gower if he believed more should have been done to protect Sam.
Mr Gower replied: “There is never enough support given to young people.
“Looking back at the case history, I am confident as a school the care provided for Sam was commensurate of Sam’s needs.”
Salesian School executive head teacher James Kibble was also called into the witness box on Thursday.
He was asked if it caused him concern that no pupil came forward despite Sam having had “in-depth talks” about suicide with friends from around Year 8.
Mr Kibble said: “It is obviously a concern because regardless of whether they thought it was a joke, it clearly was not.
“I think when looking at the scale of mental health issues we are dealing with, Sam would not have presented as someone who needed immediate help.”
The inquest has been concluded on Friday December 11.
The US Justice Department is reportedly investigating the finances of Hunter Biden, the son of US president-elect Joe Biden.
A person familiar with the matter has told the Associated Press that the investigation includes scrutinising some of his Chinese business dealings and other transactions.
The tax investigation was launched in 2018, the year before the elder Biden announced his candidacy for president
On Wednesday, Hunter Biden said he learned about the investigation for the first time the previous day.
He said in a statement, “I learned yesterday for the first time that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Delaware advised my legal counsel, also yesterday, that they are investigating my tax affairs.”
“I take this matter very seriously but I am confident that a professional and objective review of these matters will demonstrate that I handled my affairs legally and appropriately, including with the benefit of professional tax advisors,” Hunter Biden said.
Hunter Biden, a lawyer whose late brother Beau Biden was Delaware’s attorney general before he died, did not reveal any other details of the probe.
Kim Reeves, a spokeswoman for David Weiss, the U.S. attorney for Delaware, in an email said, “Per DOJ [Department of Justice] policy, we cannot comment on an ongoing investigation.”
CNN reported that the investigation is centered on “ multiple financial issues, including whether Hunter Biden and associates violated tax and money laundering laws in business dealings in foreign countries, principally China.”
Documents filed by the IRS show Hunter and his ex-wife Kathleen Buhle had an Internal Revenue Service lien against them for taxes not paid, possibly including interest and penalties, totaling $112,805.09, until this past March.
The documents also show the lien was placed in November 2019. It is not immediately clear if the lien has anything to do with the investigation.
Separately, Hunter Biden had individual income tax liens of almost $453,890 placed on him by the District of Columbia on July 9, related to taxes owed for 2017 and 2018, according to a document on file in D.C. Recorder of Deeds Office. Those liens were cancelled six days later, records show.
The District of Columbia’s income tax rate is 8.95 percent for income above $1 million annually, plus about $85,000.
Late on Wednesday, Trump tweeted a quote from New York Post columnist Miranda Devine claiming, “10% of voters would have changed their vote if they knew about Hunter Biden.”
US First lady Melania Trump reportedly wants to leave the White House even as her husband, U.S. President Donald Trump refuses to concede to Joe Biden in the recently concluded presidential election.
According to a report the Washington post, “She just wants to go home,” the tabloid quoted a source familiar with Melania’s mindset, adding that it might not “go over well” if the soon-to-be-former president announces his bid to clinch the White House again in 2024.
The report adds that Melania “publicly agrees” with the President’s sentiment that he was cheated in the election but “the first lady tasked an emissary with discreetly finding out what was available to her in terms of budget and staff allocation for post-White House life.”
The media outlet reported that while there are ‘presidential perks’ for such things for the outgoing commander in chief, budgets to set up an official office and staff, and cover some travel costs, there is no financial outlay for an outgoing first lady.
A first lady, the report says, is only entitled to a $20,000-a-year pension, which is paid out only if her husband dies.
The first lady is said to be focused on her legacy and she is considering writing a book.

“Her schedule remains full with her duties as a mother, wife, and the first lady of the United States,” Grisham added.
The source further said that the First Lady is “already overseeing shipments of personal items to Mar-a-Lago from both the White House and her Trump Tower penthouse in New York City.”

Philip Sharp, 60, who starred in TV documentaries about his lifestyle, has died.
Philip, a rabbi, was born in Stanmore, north London, but his work as a missionary took him across the world. He was living in Kenya at the time of his death.
He was discovered by a relative in Kenya.
He is believed to have written a note the day before he died, HertsLive reports.
The note included some rough detail on what he would leave behind for his family, adding “it’s not much”, before ending with, “love you all”.
He was the subject of documentaries including Channel 5’s The Girl With Seven Mums in 2015.
The show featured his daughter, who was then 10-years-old, showing what it was like to grow up with multiple motherly figures.
In 2006 he appeared in a BBC documentary called “Philip and His Seven Wives”.
It documented his life where he said he was told by God he was to become a Hebrew King and take multiple wives.
In 2018, he appeared on ITV’s This Morning where he was quizzed by presenters Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford and forced to defend his lifestyle.
It is understood he had “seven wives” and at least “19 children”, and he once claimed God spoke to him to reveal polygamy was part of a divine plan.
At the time of his death in October 2019, he had been living in Nairobi, Kenya for more than two years, an inquest heard on Wednesday, Dec 9.
The Old Court House in Hatfield, Hertfordshire was told he went to the toilet at home. After failing to emerge “some time later”, a relative went to check on him.
The family member could hear him moaning and kicked down the door to find he had collapsed, the inquest heard.
He was taken to hospital in Kenya where he was pronounced dead on October 28 2019.
Senior Coroner Geoffrey Sullivan had limited information around the full circumstances of his death but had obtained a signed death certificate.
The medical cause of death was given as respiratory failure with suspected organophosphate poisoning, although the coroner said the evidence he had was limited.
Due to the presence of the note, the coroner considered the possibility of suicide.
Although he said there “is some evidence to support that”, there wasn’t “sufficient evidence” to uphold the legal standard.
For that reason, the coroner recorded an open conclusion.
The inquest heard the coroner’s office had tried to get more information from the Kenyan authorities, but it was not forthcoming.
A lady in Zambia sued her boyfriend for wasting her time for eight years and ending their relationship without marrying her.
The lady, Gertrude Ngoma, 26, reportedly told a Zambian court that her 28-year-old boyfriend Herbert Salaliki had no intention of getting married and that she ran out of patience waiting for them to officially become husband and wife.
According to Zambia’s new media publisher, Mwebantu, Gertrude who lives with her parents has a child with Herbert.
The report said the boyfriend has since made dowry payment but is yet to marry his babymama, who got tired of waiting and decided to sue her lover for not being serious about their future.
“He has never been serious, that is why I bought him to court because I deserve to know the way forward and our future,” she said.
It was also gathered Ngoma doubted Hebert’s loyalty after discovering he was seeing another woman who she believes has something going on with her boyfriend.
In his defense, Hebert said he was not in the right financial position to afford a wedding and also blamed Ngoma for not giving him the needed time and attention.
The judge presiding the case advised both that reconciliation was the best way to go about the situation since there was no evidence of any marriage yet.
A suicide bomber ‘screaming Allahu Akbar’ blew himself up and injured six people in an attack on Federal Security Service headquarters in southern Russia on Friday, December 11.
The country’s National Anti-Terrorism Committee said an unidentified person tried to break into an area where police were conducting searches.
The person then triggered the bomb when officers tried to arrest him, the committee said, adding that ‘six officers were lightly injured’ in the blast.
The unidentified man carrying explosives also died at the scene.
‘According to preliminary findings, the man shared the views of extremist groups and the militant underground,’ said the source.
The incident was close to the FSB counterintelligence office in the village where a ‘clap’ was heard.
The attacker had got out of a car and walked up to a group of FSB officers who were conducting a ‘criminal intelligence operation’.
‘As law-enforcement attempted to arrest the person, he detonated explosives he carried on himself,’ said the Russian National Anti-Terrorism Committee.
‘Six officers received minor injuries as a result of that, they are receiving medical help.’
One of those hurt was named as Asker Abdurazakov, deputy head of the department of the forensic centre at the Interior Ministry in the region.
Authorities are trying to establish the identity of the assailant, reports said.

Credit card company, Mastercard is investigating allegations against pornography site, Pornhub, after a New York Times column on Friday December 4, accused the porn site of hosting videos on its platform that depict child abuse and nonconsensual sexual behavior.
The investigation comes after a NewYork Times’ column, written by Pulitzer Prize winner Nicholas Kristof, described recordings on Pornhub’s website of assaults of unconscious women and girls, including a naked video of a 14-year-old girl.
In his column, Kristof wrote that Pornhub allows videos to be downloaded directly from its site, which makes it possible for illegal content to spread and be reuploaded to the internet even after it’s been taken down.
Pornhub denied the allegations, stating that any claim it allows child sex abuse material (CSAM) on its platform is “irresponsible and flagrantly untrue.”
“Due to the nature of our industry, people’s preconceived notions of Pornhub’s values and processes often differ from reality — but it is counterproductive to ignore the facts regarding a subject as serious as CSAM, ” Pornhub said in a statement to CNN Business.
“We have zero tolerance for CSAM. Pornhub is unequivocally committed to combating CSAM, and has instituted an industry-leading trust and safety policy to identify and eradicate illegal material from our community.”
Mastercard which accepts payments on the website, said on Sunday night, December 6, it has “zero tolerance for illegal activity” on its network and that it works closely with law enforcement and organizations such as the National and International Center for Missing and Exploited Children to detect and prevent those types of transactions.
“We are investigating the allegations raised in the New York Times and are working with [Pornhub parent company] MindGeek’s bank to understand this situation, in addition to the other steps they have already taken. If the claims are substantiated, we will take immediate action,” Mastercard (MA) said in a statement to CNN Business.
“When we identify illegal activity, our policy is to ask the acquirer to terminate the relationship, unless an effective compliance plan is put in place.”
Many activists in recent times have called on credit card companies to stop Credit card payments on pornographic websites, saying it aids illegal activity.
In a tweet in response to the Times’ column, billionaire Bill Ackman called for card companies to either withhold payments or withdraw ties with Pornhub until the allegations are verified.
Amex, VISA and MasterCard should immediately withhold payments or withdraw until this is fixed. PayPal has already done so. Owners of these sites should be criminally prosecuted if this continues.” Bill wrote.
Financial service company American Express prohibits its cards from being accepted on Pornhub, citing a longstanding policy that prohibits cards from being used on digital adult content sites.
Visa credit card company said it is aware of the allegations and is “actively engaging with the relevant financial institutions to investigate, in addition to engaging directly with the site’s parent company, MindGeek.”
“If the site is identified as not complying with applicable laws or the financial institutions’ acceptable use policies and underwriting standards they will no longer be able to accept Visa payments”
A Zimbabwean woman has been arrested and arraigned before a court for marrying another man while still married to another.
The Sunday News reported that Moreblesing Maridza (41) of Platinum Park in Zvishavane, married another man after accusing her first husband of failing to be intimate with her for the past 12 years.
Maridza was arraigned before a court on charges of bigamy which she pleaded guilty to. She however told the court that her first husband, Mr James Chivandire had become mentally challenged and was no longer capable of performing his duties as a husband prompting her to marry the other man.
The publication reported that Chivandire allegedly fell and suffered from mental illness in 2000. In 2012 Maridza went on to marry a second husband, David Mhuru who she started living with after their wedding.
The matter only came to light in September when an officer at the Registrar-General’s office observed that Maridza had two valid marriage certificates.
Maridza was sentenced to six months in prison after being arraigned before a court. However, three months were suspended on condition that she pays a fine of $5 000 and the other three suspended on condition of she not committing a similar offense in the next five years.
France and Barcelona forward, Antoine Griezmann on Thursday, December 10, ended his business affiliation and endorsements with Mobile Phone giants, Huawei, saying there are “strong suspicions” that the Chinese owned company has contributed to the repression of the mostly Muslim minority Uighurs.
It comes after a report in the Washington Post earlier this week alleged that Huawei had tested software capable of sending automated alerts when surveillance cameras recognised members of the mainly Muslim minority Uighur group.
The facial recognition software is reportedly intended to detect Uighurs and report them directly to the chinese government.
Following the reports, Griezmann, a global brand ambassador for Huawei, who has appeared in advertisements promoting the company’s smartphones, has terminated his contract urging the company to deny or confirm the reports.
“Following strong suspicions that the Huawei company has contributed to the development of a ‘Uighur alert’ thanks to facial recognition software, I am announcing the immediate termination of my partnership with the company,” Griezmann said in an Instagram post on Thursday, October 10.
“I take this opportunity to invite Huawei to not just deny these accusations, but to take concrete actions as quickly as possible to condemn this mass repression, and to use its influence to contribute to the respect of human and women’s rights in society.”
A Huawei spokesperson, in response to Griezmann’s statement said: “We would like to extend an invitation to speak to him personally, to explain the work that is currently being done at the highest level, inside the company, to address the issues of human rights, equality, and discrimination at all levels.”
Addressing claims that Huawei tested a facial recognition system to detect Uighurs and send alerts to authorities, the spokesperson added: “It is not compatible with the values of Huawei. Our technologies are not designed to identify ethnic groups. Non-discrimination is at the heart of our values as a company.
American singer, Kelly Clarkson has claimed her estranged husband, Brandon Blackstock defrauded her out of a fortune.
Clarkson just filed legal documents with the California Labor Commission, claiming her ex, Brandon Blackstock, who also served as her personal manager, defrauded her by charging exorbitant fees, and she wants all of the “loot” back.
Among other things, Kelly says Brandon wasn’t legally allowed to operate as a talent agent, because he never obtained a license.
Kelly has been one of the high earners in the music industry for a long time now, so the commissions she’s paid are huge. She was with Brandon’s company, Starstruck Management, for 13 years and if the commission accrued over the years is calculated, it means it’s a fortune.
Bryan Freedman, lawyer for Starstruck, tells TMZ: “The labor petition conveniently ignores the fact that Kelly had her own licensed talent agency CAA at all times. While Starstruck Management Group provided talent management services on her behalf, it did so at all times that CAA was her agency of record.”
He continues, “It is unfortunate that Kelly is again attempting to avoid paying commissions that are due and owing to Starstruck to try and achieve some perceived advantage in her ongoing custody and divorce proceedings.”
Kelly was sued by Brandon’s company in September, Starstruck Management, claiming she owed the company $1.4 mil in commissions.
This is the latest in what has become a nasty divorce.
Besides money, Kelly and Brandon initially fought over custody of their kids. Brandon wanted their 2 kids to stay with him at the family’s Montana ranch. Kelly said she did not want the kids shuttling back and forth between states, and L.A. has been home base for the children. The judge agreed, and now Brandon can only see the kids every other weekend
Time magazine has jointly named President-elect Joe Biden and Vice President-elect Kamala Harris its “Person of the Year.”
Time’s editor-in-chief Edward Felsenthal says Biden and Harris won the honor for “changing the American story, for showing that the forces of empathy are greater than the furies of division, for sharing a vision of healing in a grieving world.”
Felsenthal notes, “Every elected President since FDR has at some point during his term been a Person of the Year, nearly a dozen of those in a presidential election year. This is the first time we have included a Vice President.”
He continues, “Joe Biden was elected President of the United States in the midst of an existential debate over what reality we inhabit. Perhaps the only thing Americans agree on right now is that the future of the country is at stake, even as they fiercely disagree about why…. Judges of the Milan Court of Appeal confirmed the sentence for both Robinho and one of his friends for group sexual violence dating back to January 2013.
The pair were among a group of six men accused of taking part in the gang rape of a 22-year-old Albanian woman in a Milan nightclub.
They were both ordered to jointly pay the woman damages of 60,000 euros ($A97,000).
The case against the four other accused has been suspended.
Robinho was playing for AC Milan at the time of the attack and was tried in absentia in November 2017.
Television channel Globo Sports released excerpts of a recording Italian prosecutors used to secure their conviction, in which the player purportedly says, “I’m laughing because I don’t care. The woman was completely drunk. She doesn’t even know what happened.”
Robinho, 36, who has denied the charges, has the right to again appeal the nine-year sentence within 90 days.
George Clooney has opened up about the horrific pain that led him to be hospitalised just four days before he started filming a new movie.
The Hollywood star was taken to the emergency department after suffering from crippling stomach pain, which was later diagnosed as pancreatitis.
George, 59, was due to start filming for The Midnight Sky when he started suffering and now believes that his diet played a factor in the illness, which can be deadly.
He had shed almost two stone for his role which sees him play a survivor of a global catastrophe, he told The Mirror.

The actor said: “I think I was trying too hard to lose the weight quickly and probably wasn’t taking care of myself.”
He went on to say: “It took a few weeks to get better and as a director, it’s not so easy because you need energy.”

“I grew a big ugly beard and my son loved it because he’d hide things in it which I wouldn’t know about until I got to work and I’d be like, ‘Oh, there’s a popsicle stuck in my beard’.
“But my wife and daughter were really happy when it came off because it was very hard to find a face underneath all that mess,” he told the publication.
President Nana Akufo-Addo of Ghana has been declared winner of the 2020 election.
Akufo-Addo, who ran under the platform of New Patriotic Party (NPP), was declared winner of the election by Jean Mensah, the chairperson of the electoral commission of Ghana on Wednesday evening, December 9.
According to Mensah, Akufo-Addo polled a total of 6,730,430 votes to defeat his main rival and former President John Mahama who polled 6,214,889 votes
Mensah said the total valid votes cast during the election were 30,434,574, representing 79 percent of registered voters.

Israel on Wednesday December 9, received its first batch of Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu declaring that the pandemic’s end was “insight” and vowing to get the first jab.
“This is a great celebration for Israel,” he said on the tarmac at Ben Gurion airport, near Tel Aviv, as a fork-lift truck started unloading the cargo from a red and yellow DHL air freighter.
The shipment was the first of eight million doses ordered from pharmaceutical giant Pfizer and its partner BioNTech.
“The end is in sight,” Netanyahu said about the disease which has infected 348,948 Israelis and killed about 2,932 people.
“What is important to me is that Israeli citizens get vaccinated,” he added.
“I want to serve as an example to them and I intend to be the first to be injected with this vaccine in the state of Israel.”
The Pfizer vaccine has yet to receive the necessary regulatory approvals for use in Israel but Netanyahu said he expected it to receive clearance “in the very near” future.

The first doses of the Covid-19 vaccine were given to Brits on Tuesday, Dec 8, but one day after V day, UK health regulators have issued a warning to people with a history of “significant” allergic reactions not to receive the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine.
This warning comes after two NHS staff suffered allergic reactions to it.
According to the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA)– the independent watchdog responsible for approving vaccines for use in this country – two NHS staff who received the coronavirus jab on its first day of use suffered adverse effects.
Both are recovering, it is understood.
The NHS website states that such allergic reactions are incredibly rare and if they do occur they usually happen within minutes.
The hospital or GP staff administering the vaccine will be trained to deal with allergic reactions and treat them immediately.
The NHS confirms: “With prompt treatment, you or your child will make a good recovery.”
The NHS in England said all trusts involved with the vaccination programme have been informed of the reactions.
The MHRA has given precautionary advice to NHS trusts that anyone who has a history of “significant” allergic reactions to medicines, food or vaccines should not receive the vaccine.
Professor Stephen Powis, national medical director for the NHS in England said: “As is common with new vaccines the MHRA have advised on a precautionary basis that people with a significant history of allergic reactions do not receive this vaccination after two people with a history of significant allergic reactions responded adversely yesterday.
A High Court in Kenya on Wednesday, December 9, ordered over N454million confiscated from a Nigerian man at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) to be deposited at Central Bank of Kenya pending money laundering investigations.
Mauzu Bala was arrested on Friday, December 4, with USD 880,000, 60,000 euros and N63,000 (N454,303,000 all together), stacked in his handbag while heading to Dubai.
Directorate of Criminal Investigations – DCI, confirmed the latest development in a statement on Wednesday.
“The High Court has ordered over Ksh 100 million that was confiscated from a foreigner by detectives based at JKIA to be deposited at CBK pending money laundering investigations,” the statement reads.
“The foreign national who was heading to Dubai from Nigeria was in possession of USD 880,000, 60,000 Euros and 63,000 Naira. To enable investigate the matter, DCI Transnational Organized Crime Detectives (TOCU) are working with the Asset Recovery Agency (ARA).The seized cash is believed to be from International Criminal Cartel.”
The Assets Recovery Agency (ARA) had sought court orders to freeze over Sh100 million seized from Bala at JKIA.
ARA said his failure to disclose that he was carrying such a huge amount of money and produce documents supporting the legitimacy of the cash raised suspicion of money laundering.
Section 12 (1) of the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act requires a person to declare any amount above $10,000 (approximately over Sh1 million).
The Act gives the agency powers to obtain a court order seizing money within five days, where there is reasonable grounds to believe that it is illicit money.
“The threshold for requiring the declaration was not complied as the respondent did not disclose the source of the cash, the business he was doing and the basis of moving with cash of that magnitude,” Fedrick Musyoki, a police investigator attached to ARA, said in an affidavit.
“There are reasonable grounds to suspect the funds found in possession of the respondents in cash may be a direct or indirect benefit or proceeds of crime obtained from a complex money laundering scheme and are liable to be forfeited to the state under the Proceeds of Crime and Anti-Money Laundering Act, 2009.” he added.
When asked why he was carrying such a huge amount, Mr Bala allegedly said he was heading to Dubai for business.
But the agency said there are banks in Nigeria and Dubai that allow a customer to transfer money within the two countries.
Mr Bala allegedly he had no proof of declaration of being in possession of the bulky cash from Nigeria or documentation to support the source, purpose or movement of the cash.
The court ordered Kenya Airways CEO Allan Kilavuka to hand the money to ARA, pending conclusion of investigations.
The agency says the Nigerian had disembarked from Kenya Airways flight KQ535 from Lagos, Nigeria and was intercepted at the transit lounges, heading to catch flight KQ310 to Dubai.
The agency wants to be allowed to hold the money, pending conclusion of investigations and possible application for forfeiture to the State.
The International Criminal Police Organization has announced that it has arrested a total of over 20,000 people in an Interpol-coordinated blow against online and telephone fraudsters since September 2019.
The international organization said 35 countries participated in the operation dubbed “First Light” and this led to 21,549 arrests in more than 10,000 raids, as well as the seizure of almost $154 million of “illicit funds”.
Following an “enforcement phase” in September-November last year, the investigation saw Interpol issue three so-called “Purple Notices” detailing techniques and equipment used in “telephone scams, investment fraud and fraud schemes taking advantage of the COVID-19 pandemic”.
While some of the crimes laid at suspects’ feet included a “social engineering” element, where victims are manipulated into giving up personal information like passwords or bank details, the probe “underscored the transnational nature of many telephone and online scams, where perpetrators often operate from a different country or even continent than their victims.”
The organisation said in a statement;
“The first time law enforcement has cooperated with Interpol on a global scale to combat telecoms fraud, with operations taking place on every continent.”
There were instances of “business e-mail compromise, romance scams and ‘smishing’,” where SMS text messages are used to try and convince targets to hand over valuable details in a variant of more typical email “phishing” attacks, and it was gathered that such scams have proliferated during the Coronavirus pandemic.
The Ondo State Security Network Agency, Amotekun, has accused some herdsmen in the state of attacking its officials and destroying a farmland in Osi Community in Akure North Local Government Area of the state.
Disclosing this to newsmen, the state Commander of Amotekun, Adetunji Adeleye, said the officials had received a distress call from the farmers that the cows owned by the herdsmen had destroyed their crops.
“Some farmers from Osi Community ran to the office complaining that their farms had been destroyed by herds. We sent our men there to assess the situation. They found out that the herds were actually on the farm and we invited the herdsmen. But unfortunately, on getting there, they attacked our men with knives and other dangerous weapons. But we were able to arrest one of them, named Abdulkadir Mohammed.”Adeleye said
He also disclosed that two suspected cattle rustlers were arrested by his men while a NISSAN Serena marked LAGOS FJ 423 KRD, brought by the suspected rustlers to steal cows belonging to one Alhaji Ilyasu was impounded
“One Alhaji Ilyasu, a Fulani man came to us that some people came with a Serena Bus to steal their cattle. They came to us and we sent our men out. We were able to recover the vehicle they wanted to used in stealing the cows, we also recovered the cows.
We were able to trace some of the rustlers that ran away to somewhere in Ogun State. We have apprehended one Sudauna Gombe and one Ogunyale Sola, who was the driver of the abandoned Serena. We have handed them over to the Agro Department of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps for detailed investigation.
We recovered two cows, which we have returned to the Fulani man that owns them, and we brought the vehicle to our office here because the rustlers ran away and abandoned the vehicle. But we were able to arrest those involved and they had confessed that they had been in the trade for some time.”he said
Canada has become the second country after the UK to approve the Pfizer/BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine and may start immunizing residents from next week.
On Wednesday, the country’s health regulator, Health Canada, posted on its website that it had authorized the jab after a two-month independent review on safety and efficacy.
‘Canadians can feel confident that the review process was rigorous and that we have strong monitoring systems in place,’ a government department statement read.
‘Health Canada and the Public Health Agency of Canada will closely monitor the safety of the vaccine once it is on the market and will not hesitate to take action if any safety concerns are identified.’
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said on Monday that Canada would get up to 249,000 doses of the vaccine before the end of December, with 4 million doses of the vaccine expected by March 2021.
Canada has purchased 20 million doses of this vaccine, with an option to buy 56 million more.
Health Canada is currently reviewing three other vaccine candidates, including one from Moderna.
According to the country’s health regulator, the immunization is only approved for Canadians above the age of 16 but may later be recommended to include children once Pfizer releases more data from its ongoing clinical trials. Two jabs are required for full protection, as the 249,000 doses will be enough to vaccinate 124,500 by year’s end.
The news comes a day after the UK began administering Pfizer’s jab becoming the first country to approve Pfizer’s coronavirus vaccine.
A self-proclaimed devil worshipper charged in a 2016 Texas slaying has been arrested for killing again after being released on bond.
23-year-old Edward O’Neal was locked up for four years while awaiting trial in the stabbing death of his 16-year-old friend Ryan Roberts, according to local outlets.
In August, he was freed on a lowered $25,000 bond. But over the weekend O’Neal was taken back to prison, accused of gunning down his cousin’s ex-boyfriend, Derrick Mike.
The 39-year-old victim was found shot on Nov. 28 and was able to describe his assailant to officers before he died the next day, the Houston Chronicle reported.
Police said O’Neal confessed both murders to his mother, who told officers “that her son has mental issues and that she is afraid of what else he may do,” according to charging documents.
During the first incident, O’Neal’s mother told a local TV station that her son had been worshipping the devil and had killed two family pets.
He also admitted being a follower of Satan in a jailhouse interview with KPRC 2 but denied slaying his friend, the outlet reported.
O’Neal was committed to a mental institution for 120 days and originally found incompetent to stand trial. When he was deemed fit to stand trial, a judge cut his $50,000 bond in half at the request of his defense lawyer.
Christina Roberts, the mother of his alleged first victim blasted the court decision to free O’Neal.
“I told the DA he should not get out. He killed my son, he’ll be killing again,” She told ABC13.
A dad, Jonathon Pisani, will be spending Christmas in prison after he admitted to having sex with a woman, Kate Jackson in a town center pavement in broad daylight.
Pisani, 45, committed the crime with 40-year-old Kate Jackson in Stalybridge, Greater Manchester, UK in August this year.
The couple got intimate after chatting and sharing a bottle of cider, the Manchester Evening News reports.
The police were called to the crime scene after a member of the public mistakenly believed Jackson was being raped but CCTV later showed the pair kissing passionately outside a nightclub.
Pisani, has now been jailed for 11 weeks at Manchester Crown Court for outraging public decency.
Meanwhile Jackson was fined and made subject to a 12-month community order after she pled guilty to the same charge of public indecency when she appeared before magistrates in Tameside last month.
The judge called the offence “appalling” as a court heard the pair were lying on the pavement cuddling each other before Jackson pulled him on top of her to begin having sex as shoppers walked past.
Prosecutor Gareth Hughes said: “Both accept it and have pleaded guilty. ”
Pisani’s lawyer Ian Ridgway said: “If you are not willing to impose a community order then I ask for any sentence to be suspended.
“He has mental health issues and is trying to get treatment from his doctor.
“He is living with his daughter and has his benefits paid to his daughter’s account. He has been in contact with the probation service and has been working positively with them to get his life back on track.”
But District Judge Bernard Begley said: “Members of the public were going about their daily business.
“One of them drew this offence to the attention of police as they thought your co-accused was being raped.
Pisani was also ordered to pay £213 in costs and surcharges.
Jackson’s lawyer, Christopher Squibbs said: “She was waiting outside and then struck up a conversation with a male and after being offered White Storm cider, her recollection then becomes particularly hazy.
“She has medication for bipolar and personality disorder and taking particularly strong alcohol is likely to have led to this situation happening and it’s highly embarrassing for her.”

Matt Moulding, who founded The Hut Group in Manchester, said he has gifted around 430 staff shares in the company over the last ten years.

A male nurse allegedly drugged and raped 21 women he met on dating apps and filmed his shocking crimes.
The 30-year-old man, who cannot be named for legal reasons, is facing 135 charges over the alleged assaults across southeast Queensland, Australia.
Police believe sedatives he used to drug his victims came from the hospital where he was working.
The alleged offences occurred in Bethania, Springwood and Brisbane CBD between 2016 and 2020.
He faced court in Brisbane in August on ten charges but has since been hit with more than 100 more.
The charges include 46 counts of rape allegedly involving 21 women, 38 counts of observations or recordings in breach of privacy, 14 counts of stupefying in order to commit an offence and seven counts of unlawful possession of restricted drugs.
The man is also facing charges relating to computer hacking, distributing intimate images, impersonation and stalking.
Police have appealed for other women to come forward saying they believe there may be more victims.
The man’s registration as a health practitioner was suspended by the Health Ombudsman about two weeks after his court appearance in August.
Police allege the man deceptively targeted his victims on social media dating sites.
“It’s also alleged he subsequently administered substances and filmed himself engaged in non-consensual sexual acts with his victims,” Detective Inspector Glen Farmer said.
“Detectives are continuing work to identify a number of women who they believe may also be victims of this man’s alleged predatory behaviour.”
Police say a woman in her early 20s reported being drugged and sexually assaulted by a man at a Mary Street apartment in August.
“She participated in a drink with that man and whilst at the apartment the behaviour that is the subject of the charges is alleged to have taken place,” Detective Superintendent Tony Fleming said.
“There was an impact on her consciousness and after she was able to gather her wits she left and subsequently received some assistance from her family and also a GP.”
Police say they found several mobile phones, video recording equipment, and prescription and illicit drugs when they searched the apartment, DailyMail reports.
He was denied bail during his first appearance with magistrate Anthony Gett saying his position as a registered nurse was concerning.
“It would seem … he has knowledge and training with those drugs said to be the administered stupefying drugs,” he said.
Mr Gett told the court he also had concerns about the method and nature of the alleged offences.
“The allegations concern a level of deliberateness and planning,” he added.
The court heard the man used social media platforms like Tinder and Snapchat to meet women.
A 12-year-old rape victim has given birth to twins in Argentina after being denied an abortion by local authorities amid tough restrictions on abortion in the country.
According to Mail Online, Authorities in Jujuy forced the child to remain pregnant until the twins could be safely delivered by caesarean section despite abortion only legalised in cases of rape.
The birth of the kids by the rape victim has outraged medical professionals who have condemned the authorities’ decision to deny her a legal abortion.
The Jujuy branch of Health Professionals for the Right to Decide released a damning statement on the handling of the case:
‘Despite the fact that the National Directorate of Sexual Health made an offer to immediately resolve the situation, preserving the physical and emotional health of the girl, the authorities in charge of the local Health portfolio, rejected the proposal and they decided not to guarantee this girl her right to ILE (legal interruption of pregnancy),’ the statement read.
The statement was posted to social media along with a comment accusing the State of ‘sinisterly perpetuating’ inequalities faced by abused girls when it should be protecting them.
Health Professionals for the Right to Decide, also accused authorities of deliberately delaying acting on the girl’s situation until she was far enough into her pregnancy for the twins to survive outside of her womb.
The 12-year-old girl lives in Monterrico, a city in northwestern Argentina about 37km from San Salvador de Jujuy, according to El Comerico. She underwent a caesarean section operation at the Hector Quintana Maternal and Child hospital last Sunday.
According to Human Rights Watch, legislation around abortion in Argentina does not set a time limit for legal abortions but authorities and health officials often set arbitrary limits.
The girl has now been placed under the care of the Children’s Ombudsman due to her parent’s ‘legal situation’, according to the statement from Health Professionals for the Right to Decide.
Argentina has the world’s toughest restriction on abortion. Currently, abortion is covered by Section 86 of the country’s 1921 criminal code, which says that pregnancy can only be legally terminated when it endangers the woman’s life or health.
However, the legislation was updated in 2019 to give rape victims access to legal abortions.
In all other instances, abortion is considered a criminal offence punishable by up to 15 years in prison, while the sentence for self-inducing abortion or consenting to the procedure is up to four years.
A woman has been electrocuted in Russia after suffering a massive electric shock when her charging phone fell in her bath.
Olesya Semenova, 24, was found by her flatmate at their home in Russian city Arkhangelsk.

Former Manchester City and Liverpool striker, Mario Balotelli, has joined Serie B side AC Monza until the end of the season.
The 30-year-old Italian footballer, who has been without a club since leaving Brescia this summer, trained with Serie D side Franciacorta in November. But he has now signed a deal with the Serie B Italian club until June 2021.
Balotelli also played for Inter and AC Milan. He won the Champions League, three Serie A titles, the Coppa Italia, and the Italian Super Cup with Inter, for whom he scored 28 goals in 86 games.
He won the Premier League and FA Cup with City, scoring 30 goals in 80 matches.
A 34-year-old Brazilian profession boxer, Viviane Obenauf has been arrested as a prime suspect in the bludgeoning murder of her wealthy Swiss hotelier husband.
Obenauf is accused of beating her 61-year-old husband, Thomas to death in his restaurant Des Alpes at Interlaken in Switzerland on October 19.
She was arrested last week after the victim was found dead from “massive injuries” sustained during a “violent assault”.
Amid allegations of people who know her saying that she is not shy of taking on women or men outside of the ring if she lost her temper, the Swiss police are now looking into claims of Obenauf being responsible for the death of her husband she married in January 2020.
The former featherweight boxer has been arrested at least once before — for allegedly punching a man who tried to grope her as she celebrated her 30th birthday in London in 2016, the local report said. She spent several hours in jail on the night of that incident.

We hear that you set up a pod school for Asahd and some classmates.
Nicole: In March, when Asahd’s preschool sent everybody home, I was doing the Zoom classes with him every single day. I thought to myself, “This cannot be the best we can do!” So I organized a learning pod at our house with other quarantined families. We have seven kids and two teachers. And it’s absolutely amazing!
Khaled: Nicole did everything. We turned a guesthouse on our property into a little schoolhouse. It’s perfect because we have a playground right there too.
What are some daily rituals in the Khaled household?
Khaled: I start every morning off praying. Then I come downstairs and kiss Nicole, Asahd, and Aalam and I get the music vibing. These days we’ve been listening to a lot of reggae and salsa. Also Sade and Aretha Franklin. Music is a big part of our life. I have my turntables and I let Asahd scratch the records.
What’s your favorite father-son time with Asahd?
Khaled: We do this thing after lunch where we drive around together in the golf cart, just him and me. That’s our time. He tells me everything he’s doing and what he’s been thinking about. And I talk to him about how proud we are of him and how good he’s doing in school, and how great he is at being a big brother. It’s real peaceful. It’s kind of our man-to-man time.
You often talk about the importance of hustle. But Asahd and Aalam are growing up with a lot of privilege. Asahd has had his own Jordan apparel line—the Jordan x Asahd collection—since he was in diapers. How do you square the two?
Khaled: The kids see Daddy work all day in the studio. Especially now with the pandemic, I’m doing all my office work and meetings right in the backyard, so they see me nonstop working. I explain to Asahd, “Yo, Daddy’s got to work to make sure that everything’s good.” I want the kids to know that Mommy and Daddy work hard and that we want them to work hard when they grow up, to take care of their own families.
Nicole: We show them every day what it is to work. It’s not like we shield them from business.
What about household responsibilities and things like that?
Nicole: Asahd definitely has chores. Even though we have housekeepers, he knows how to make his bed. And he puts away his toys. Actually, he’s more organized than we are.
Khaled: And he wants to help make us breakfast. He loves to make chocolate-chip pancakes. That’s his specialty.
Let’s talk about limits. How do you tell Asahd “No”? Do you ever have to go Supernanny on him and put him on the naughty step?
Nicole: It’s amazing that we have never had to put him in a corner or anything like that. The most I ever have to say is, “Okay, I’m going to count.” And as soon as I say, “One,” that’s it. I don’t even have to go to “Two.”
Khaled: He’s such a good kid. We are so blessed it’s unbelievable.
Do you worry about your boys growing up too fast?
Nicole: I do try and keep life as traditional as possible, because we live in a very hectic world. I want them to enjoy being kids as long as they possibly can. I try to keep it like how we grew up as much as possible.
Khaled: Yes, because they learn so fast, you know what I’m saying? So we’re protective. We’re definitely cautious about the TV, and when we listen to hip-hop, it’s always the clean versions of everything. That’s mandatory!
What’s Asahd watching?
Nicole: His favorite shows are PAW Patrol and PJ Masks. Yesterday it was raining, so we had a Cars marathon. He was in his pajamas all day long and we watched Cars, Cars 2, and Cars 3.
And what about books?
Nicole: He makes me read 10 books every night before bed, and he’s serious about it being 10—he will go through and count them. These days it’s a lot of Dr. Seuss—Mr. Brown Can Moo! Can You? and Green Eggs and Ham, which he knows by heart. When I read it out loud to the class the other day, he was saying the words with me and everyone was like, “Stop, Asahd!”
So if each of you could describe your parenting style in one word, what would it be?
Khaled: Fun!
Nicole: Structured!
Khaled: True. I always tell the kids, we are so blessed to have Mommy.
The heartbroken mother of Daisy Coleman has died by suicide just four months after her daughter took her own life.
Melinda Coleman died on Sunday evening, Dec 6.
SafeBae, a youth-led sexual assault prevention group created by Daisy Coleman, made the announcement to their Instagram page.
The post reads: “We are in shock and disbelief to share with our SafeBae family, that we lost Melinda Coleman to suicide this evening.
“The bottomless grief of losing her husband, Tristan and Daisy was more than she could face most days.
“Melinda was a gifted veterinarian, devoted mother and wife, and talented body builder. More than anything, she loved and believed in her children. It is no accident that she created some of the most gifted, passionate, and resilient children.
“Our hearts are with Logan and Charlie. There are no words for our sadness, only that if you are struggling with trauma or depression, you are not alone.”
Just hours before taking her life, Melinda posted a series of posts and pictures of her late daughter, Daisy to her Facebook page.
On August 5, 23-year-old Daisy committed suicide after being candid about her traumatic sexual assault in the 2016 Netflix documentary “Audrie & Daisy.”
Daisy’s body was discovered by authorities after her mother, Melinda, asked them to perform a welfare check.
Daisy died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound while talking to her boyfriend on FaceTime. Melinda later confirmed her daughter’s death on social media.
Spanish striker, Jese Rodriguez has had his Paris Saint-Germain contract terminated after a sex scandal
The 27-year-old was accused of cheating on his partner Aurah Ruiz with her model friend, Rocio Amar.
Amar reportedly posted audio clips to Instagram in which Jese calls Ruiz, who is the mother of his child, ‘crazy’ and ‘boring’. She also recounted ‘sexual encounters’ that she had with the footballer in a Madrid nightclub.
Most recently, Jese Rodriguez was pictured last month at a party in Gran Canaria ignoring social distancing rules and not wearing a face mask.
According to Mail Online, PSG ended his contract two months early with club president Nasser Al-Khelaifi tired of his personal life damaging the image of the club.

Former five-weight boxing world champion, Floyd Mayweather, has announced he will take on Youtuber Logan Paul in a “special exhibition” fight in February 2021.
The American undefeated champion, 43, made the announcement via his Instagram page.
Mayweather is officially retired after a 50-0 boxing career with 27 KOs to his name. He last fought in 2017, beating MMA star Conor McGregor in one of the richest bouts in boxing history.
Meanwhile, the 25-year-old Paul has just one professional boxing match under his belt. He lost to British YouTube star/rapper KSI in a split decision in 2019.

Chinese authorities have made an astonishing claim that coronavirus may have arrived via imported frozen food from countries including Australia.
An article in the Global Times over the weekend argued that Western countries had attempted to “shift the narrative from their own shortcomings” by accusing Wuhan of being “where the coronavirus began”.
“As the mounting sporadic outbreaks in China were found to be related to imported cold-chain products, with other parts of the world, including Europe and the American continent, reportedly discovering signs of the coronavirus earlier than Wuhan, it begs a new hypothesis – did the early outbreak in Wuhan originate from imported frozen food?” the publication wrote.
Western scientists believe the disease passed from bats to another animal species and then to humans in Wuhan.
Coronavirus cases were first reported in the Chinese city in December last year before the disease spread rapidly around the world, causing 1.5million deaths and wrecking economies.
The Global Times article admits that there is as yet no evidence, but that the theory “cannot be ruled out”. Its reporters spoke to a number of former merchants from the Huanan Seafood Wholesale Market, with one claiming “actually the frozen products in China are clean, but I don’t know about those from abroad”.
The report comes after Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison called for an independent inquiry into the origins of the virus, sparking political and economic tension between Australia and China after Beijing slapped a 212 percent tariff on Aussie wine and shared doctored propaganda images referencing war crimes allegations against Australian troops in Afghanistan.
Facing international criticism over its handling of the initial outbreak, China has pushed back, saying that the virus may have started overseas and arrived on frozen food packaging.
Chinese officials have previously claimed to have detected coronavirus on frozen products including chicken wings from Brazil, squid from Russia, shrimp from Ecuador, pork from Germany, and salmon from Norway.
A four year old loyal dog who had been missing for nearly three weeks was found after it walked into the supermarket where her owner worked, despite never being there before.
The dog, a lab-pitbull mixed breed, owned by June Rountree was missing for 20 days after she broke free of her collar and escaped from the house where she was chained.
Mrs Rountree and her husband checked through their local neighbourhood every night looking for her but to no avail.
According to Rountree, she had even started to lose hope that she’d ever see her dog again as she’d been missing for so long.
But on November 28, while she was sat at her cash register at the Walmart in Dothan, Alabama, US she heard a noise, looked up and saw a dog inside the store.
Customer Service representative, Danielle Robinette spotted the dog and said it had been looking at people “like she was looking for someone”.
“I said, ‘It can’t be,’ ” Mrs Rountree told the Washington Post.
“I called her name and she came to me.
“I bent over and hugged her. I completely lost it then. I couldn’t speak. I was in complete shock and just couldn’t believe it.”
Rountree has worked at the supermarket, about 1.5 miles from their home and across two heavily-traveled roads, for 10 years and says she had walked Abby nearby but that she’d never been in the store.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s brother, Hugo Aviero is currently being investigated for fraud after selling shirts that were meant to be destroyed.
According to reports in Italy, Hugo Dinarte Aveiro is reportedly under investigation by an Italian prosecutor as he has been accused of selling some special shirts produced by a small Turin company called Pegaso that manufactures and distributes sports gadgets and clothing.
Football icon, Ronaldo owns a company Mussara, which is managed by his brother Hugo Aviero, and they ordered a number of shirts from Pegaso.
According to reports, Pegaso were asked to produce the jerseys for Mussara, only for Mussara to pull the plug on manufacturing asking the company to send all already produced shirts so they could be disposed of.
Now Pegaso claim the shirts weren’t destroyed by Mussara, instead they were put on sale at the Cristiano Ronaldo Museum.
Hugo, who runs Mussara is now facing investigation as Pegaso have launched legal action against Mussara .
Its not the first time Ronaldo’sfamily has faced legal issues. Ronaldo himself was handed a suspended jail sentence for tax fraud during his time at Real Madrid.
According to Spanish prosecution Ronaldo deprived the Spanish government out of 5,717,174 euros (£5.3 million) during a space of four years.
Ronaldo pled guilty and agreed a deal with the courts to avoid a longer trial and potentially a heftier punishment.
Ronaldo and his older brother have become incredibly close in recent years after the five-time Ballon d’Or winner paid for Hugo’s rehab as he suffered from substance abuse issues similar to what Ronaldo’s father Dinis suffered from before his death.
Dinis died in 2005 while Ronaldo was at Manchester United and at the time, Hugo played ‘street football’.
France and Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba has come out to detail the struggles he experienced while recovering from Coronavirus.
Pogba was diagnosed with Covid-19 on August 27, which forced him to spend 10 days in quarantine before returning to full training with United.
He was then named in Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s starting XI for their Premier League opener against Crystal Palace on September 19.
According to Pogba, it took him a “long time” to recover physically from coronavirus and that he “couldn’t run” during the first game of the season.
He suffered an alarmig dip in form, and hasn’t had a regular spot in Solskjaer’s line up since giving away the penalty which gave Arsenal a 1-0 win at Old Trafford on November 1.
But Pogba says he finally felt like himself again during the Red Devils’ Premier League clash at West Ham on Saturday December 5, where he scored a stunning second-half equaliser giving Manchester United 3-1 victory.
According to Pogba, the disease affected his ability to perform.
“It’s strange, it’s hard to explain because you wouldn’t understand. Even in training, I would say to the fitness coach that I feel strange. It’s not me,” He told United’s official website.
“I get tired very fast and I’m out of breath really fast. The first game of the season, I couldn’t run. I was trying.
“I spoke with the manager, ‘I will start the game and let’s see,’ but I was very out of breath and it took me a long time to get me back to my fitness and to get back physically good.”
Asked how it felt to get 90 minutes under his belt, Pogba responded: “So good. Obviously, it feels good to play. The lads have been playing really well as well.
“I wasn’t ready physically I would say. I felt weakness physically. You know, just to play the 90 minutes and carrying on with the games. It’s such a difference. I’m finding my rhythm as well.
“I feel so much better today, I felt I could go again, control the game, getting the ball. That’s what I like, myself. That’s what I think is good for the team. I’m a team player.
“As long as the team wins, that’s the most important, you know. I find myself good and we want to win. That’s why I came here and that’s why I want to be successful.”
Reacting to the goal, which was his first Premier League goal of the season, Pogba said:
“The kick from Dean [Henderson] was a bit… we didn’t know if it was out or in but we just went for it. I just went for it, I saw Bruno [Fernandes] had the ball and I was free. I hit it in the first half, it didn’t go well, but the second time it went in and I’m really happy with this.

Queen Elizabeth II will reportedly receive the Pfizer-BioNTech coronavirus vaccine within weeks after UK regulators granted approval with the world’s first roll-out to begin this week.
The monarch, 94, and her 99-year-old husband Prince Philip are in line to get the jab early due to their age and will not receive preferential treatment, the Mail on Sunday reported.
The newspaper said Britain’s most senior royals would reveal they have been given the inoculation “to encourage more people to take up the vital jab”, amid fears so-called anti-vaxxers could dent enthusiasm for it.
The vaccine, created by Pfizer Inc. and BioNTech SE, has arrived at secure locations in the UK from Belgium, the Department of Health and Social Care said Sunday.
Following quality checks to ensure the jabs have been kept at the correct temperature, officials say the shots will be made available to 50 hospital hubs around the country, before being distributed to doctor-run vaccination centres that will administer the jabs.
Britain will become the first western country to deploy a Covid-19 vaccine after regulators approved the Pfizer-BioNTech shot last Wednesday. The government has bought 40 million doses from the companies, enough to inoculate 20 million people on the two-dose regimen. The shots will be given in order of priority, with the first vaccines going to those in care homes, including workers, and people over 80 years old.
Vaccines are planned to arrive at hospitals Monday with the first vaccinations starting Tuesday, according to a separate release from NHS England, with patients aged 80 and over who are already in hospital or attending appointments there among the first to receive the jab, the NHS said
“This coming week will be an historic moment as we begin vaccination against Covid-19,” Matt Hancock, the UK’s health secretary, said in a statement. “We are doing everything we can to make sure we can overcome significant challenges to vaccinate care home residents.”
The United States has removed the reciprocity fee imposed on visa applications from Nigeria.
The fee was imposed in August 2019 on applicants whose non-immigrant visa applications are granted. The US Consulate at the time said it was “reciprocating” the extra visa fee the Nigerian government charges American citizens. The US consulate argued that while the US charged Nigerians $160 for visa application, its citizens seeking Nigerian visa were paying $110 extra. As a result, the federal government reduced visa application fees for US citizens.
In a statement released on Friday, December 4, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the reciprocity fee will no longer be effected from December 3, 2020.

“The ministry of foreign affairs wishes to inform that the United States government has removed all visa reciprocity fees for Nigerian citizens seeking visas to the United States.
The positive development is in line with the removal of excess visa application, processing and biometric fees for United States citizens applying for Nigerian visas by the Nigerian government.
The United States government has therefore eliminated reciprocity fees for Nigerian citizens with effect from December 3, 2020.”
Some of the alleged victims of the October 20 gunshot incident at the Lekki tollgate appeared before the Lagos state government judicial panel today December 4.
The said victims who appeared before the panel were 15 in number. 14 of them said they were shot at Lekki Toll Gate on the evening of October 20, while one was said to have been shot Ojodu Berger. They were led in by the EndSARS counsel, Adesina Ogunlana.
In their entourage was one Mr Nathaniel Solomon, who alleged his younger brother, Abouta Solomon was shot dead at the toll gate. He said Abouta has since been buried in his hometown in Mubi Local Government Area of Adamawa State.
Another woman, Aiyedungbe Olufunmi Grace, whose brother died at LASUTH after suffering gunshot wounds to the head, was also in attendance. She alleged that after her brother’s death, the hospital authorities changed the story and said he died of COVID-19.
The Nigerian military has always insisted it never shot live ammunition before the protesters.

Billionaire businessman and father-in-law of actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, Harry Akande, has died. He was 77 years old.
The billionaire businessman died in the early hours of today Saturday, December 5 after a brief illness.
Late Akande who is described as one of the richest men in Nigeria was the chairman of Akande International Corporation (AIC) with interest in healthcare, engineering, building construction and power. He was also a one-time presidential aspirant on the defunct All Nigeria Peoples Party (ANPP) platform.
He is survived by his children including Olumide, his son who is married to actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande.

North Korea has reportedly executed a citizen in public for violating “emergency quarantine measures” in the country.
According to Radio Free Asia (RFA), a citizen in North Korea was executed by firing squad shooting, after the man was accused of smuggling with his Chinese business partners.
The report said the public execution was ordered in an effort to scare other citizens into strict compliance with the emergency quarantine measures in the country.
North Korea, which shares a border with China, has repeatedly claimed it is Covid-free but the government have implemented a number of severe lockdown restrictions to stop the spread of the virus, including a ban on travel between provinces.
“Since the end of November, the Central Committee [of the Korean Workers’ Party] have ratcheted up the existing emergency quarantine measures to ‘ultra-high-level’ emergency quarantine measures,” a resident of North Pyongan province, on the border with China in the country’s northwest, told RFA’s Korean Service this week.
“The public execution happened because the victim was charged with violating quarantine right before the ultra-high-level emergency measures took effect around 20 November. A man in his 50s who tried to smuggle with Chinese business partners was shot as an example on 28 November,” the source added.
The source said they did not attend the public execution but discussed it with a witness, who said the shooting was moved away from the victim’s home county, near the border, to keep the news from seeping into China.
Citizens are growing increasingly scared of the control measures imposed by the government, a North Pyongan official told RFA.
“While guarding the border seamlessly from the ground, in the air, and at sea, authorities ordered soldiers to shoot anyone approaching the border unconditionally, regardless of who the person is or their reason for being in the area. It is an absolute threat to the border area residents,” the second source said.

A drug dealer tried to fake his own death during a desperate attempt to avoid going to jail.
The notorious criminal named Gabriel C – and known in Belgium as “Lange Vingers” (Long Fingers) – staged photographs of himself being “tortured” to death, with the word “thief” being carved into his chest.
He released the images of himself seemingly slumped in a chair with his hands bound and fake injuries across his body.
The images were presented as proof he had been tortured to death by a rival drug gang after he had been busted for stealing cocaine that he had been tasked with ensuring made passage to a port in Antwerp.
However authorities failed to fall for the “tortured to death” ploy and he has since been arrested and charged.
Gabriel C will now be jailed for four years and fined £16,193 for his part in a 113kg cocaine smuggling operation dating back to 2016.
The criminal had attempted to sell the drugs he siphoned off from the shipment he was supposed to supervise.
Last year, he went into hiding after the Albanian drugs gang he stole from made him a marked man.
The gang retaliated by attacking several address – including houses and warehouses – armed with AK-47 guns and hand grenade explosives while searching for C.
He had already been wanted for a string of offences committed in 2015.
The fake images first surfaced last year but experts last December ruled the images as fraudulent.
Brussels Times reported at the time: “The visible wounds are most likely the work of a professional make-up artists, probably someone working in the film world.”
They added: “The wounds on his body, apparently fatal, are fake, according to four doctors who studied the images, including one forensic pathologist.”
Belgian authorities reduced his sentence from five years to four even following the failed attempt to convince police he was dead.
His lawyer argued in court that he was “sorry” for his past crimes and claimed his wife and three-year-old son have taught him what “taking responsibility” meant.

However, some people are concerned and are already throwing around different conspiracy theories, including that the vaccine is the mark of the beast because one of its components is “Luciferase” and they are linking it to “Lucifer” (the devil according to Christian belief).
Black Panther actress, Letitia Wright is one of those sharing such conspiracy theories.
She shared a YouTube video addressing the Luciferase that is allegedly added to the Covid-19 vaccine.
The YouTube description of the video published on Dec 1 claims Luciferase is being added to Covid-19 vaccines “to detect those who have not taken it.”
The video publisher then claimed that it is “partially true” that Luciferase was “named by its founder after Lucifer”.
While some praised Letitia for raising awareness about the “evil” of the vaccine. Others cautioned her against using her platform to mislead people.
Letitia replied, saying her intention is not to mislead but to ask questions.
She added: “Not my intention to make anyone upset. Nor am I saying don’t take it. I’m just concerned about what’s in it that’s all. Isn’t that fair to question or ask?”
Other Twitter users have been tweeting, connecting the vaccine to the mark of the beast, 666, because of the Luciferase allegedly put in it.
A Wikipedia search explains that Luciferase “is a generic term for the class of oxidative enzymes that produce bioluminescence, and is usually distinguished from a photoprotein. The name was first used by Raphaël Dubois who invented the words luciferin and luciferase, for the substrate and enzyme, respectively.”
Some people have been sharing the Wikipedia definition to dispute claims made by conspiracy theorists. However, this has not stopped the theories from pouring in.

Emmanuel Adebayor has accused ex-girlfriend Dillish Matthews of a number of things, including deception and cheating.
The Togolese professional footballer who dated Big Brother Africa 8 winner Dillish made the accusations on his Instagram Stories and tagged it “Pay Back Friday”.
