Shaun Pinner and Aiden Aslin, who were captured by Russian forces while fighting in the southern Ukrainian city of Mariupol, appeared on Russian television and asked Boris Johnson to help get them home.
The two asked for their freedom in exchange for Viktor Medvedchuk, a Ukrainian opposition leader who’s been arrested last week for breaking house arrest.
