    15 Killed in Bandits Attack on Sokoto State Village

    A brutal attack by armed bandits in the early hours of Wednesday has left 15 people dead and several others injured in Kwallaijiya village, Tangaza Local Government Area of Sokoto State.

    Local sources report that the suspected assailants stormed the village, unleashing a barrage of gunfire that resulted in the tragic loss of life. The indiscriminate shooting sent shockwaves through the community, which is now grappling with grief and fear.

    The attack has reignited concerns among community members regarding the persistent violence plaguing the area. Disturbingly, some locals allege that individuals within the community are collaborating with the terrorists, facilitating these devastating attacks on innocent citizens.     According to community members, the recent attack was perpetrated by a notorious bandit group operating in the area, identified as the “Charambe” gang.     In the wake of the tragedy, the Executive Chairman of Tangaza Local Government Council, Isa Bashir Kalanjeni, led a delegation to Kwallaijiya village to offer condolences and support.
