Cameroonian and Royal Antwerp striker, Didier Lamkel Ze, who is desperate to leave his current club angered the Belgian side on Wednesday morning, January 6.
The 24-year-old foorballer showed up at his club training wearing his team fiercest rival Anderlecht home jersey in an attempt to force a move to Greek side Panathinaikos.
The shirt had the name of former Crystal Palace winger, Yannick Bolasie on the back.
However, security prevented Didier from entering the club’s building while attempting to force his way through.
According to AD, he said: “It’s simple: I want to go to Greece. I have given my personal agreement. Don’t play with my career.”
Didier has now apologised in a video posted on the club’s Twitter account.
“I sincerely apologise to the club and the Antwerp supporters because they are magnificent and wonderful fans who have always supported me,” he said.
“If I reacted like that, it is because my head was elsewhere with the transfer, it wasn’t easy for me. I’m so sorry for my actions.
“I won’t forget how my teammates and the technical staff have supported me in the dressing room since my arrival here.
“I’m ready for the club if the new coach needs me. I hope to be in front of the supporters very soon on the pitch.”
